"But for your safety, from now on, our hangouts, even with Dei and Carina, have to be kept in the shadows. I don't want to see you this hurt ever again," he added, scaning her body for bandages and injuries.

She looked at her arms then wrapped them around herself. "Nothing i can't handle. But if we are not careful i will be ordered to kill you and the others only because of your names."

"Oh I have no doubt you can handle yourself," Ted gave her a sly smile. "We will be fine. All of us. You have no idea how many people are on our side and want him dead, Nyx. And how many supposedly dead people, not just Morana and Marvolo, are still very much alive and ready for revenge," he said, sounding quite excited.
