The Formation of the Inevitable (Serena, Ivan) [R]

Looking over his shoulder Sirius threw a compass to Serena, that would lead her to his flying motorcycle. Motioning for her to leave, as it appeared this would turn ugly, and Sirius would have to take another life, he turned back to the man, "This boy lies dead because of you. It is your fault I snapped his neck," he spoke towards the man coldly, showing that he had no remorse for what he did.

Catching a glint of something flying through the air to her, Serena caught whatever it was and looked down at it. She didn't need to be told what this compass was for. Looking back to her father, her eyes shot to the man that held Hugo's lifeless body and then back to her father. Seeing his order to go, she quickly skirted around the man and ran for his motorcycle, lead there by the compass in her hand...

Hearing the man lay the blame on him for his brother's death, Ivan raised his dark eyes to his brother's killer. "How dare you? This boy is my brother! Why were you even in the position to possibly break his neck in the first place? Or is it a sick thrill of yours to prey on those younger and weaker then yourself?" Ivan spat, getting to his feet, cradling Hugo's body. This...this mess...was in no way his fault...

Sirius did not respond, not until Serena was out of sight and heading for safety. The motorcycle was hidden away from the sight of people that did not belong to the Black family, so whilst Serena would see it, others wouldn't see neither the motorcycle, nor the girl sitting on it. Turning to the man, Sirius extended his arms, lightning bolts wrapping themselves around them, as his eyes twisted, turning completely white. The alley around them began cracking, walls were destroyed, windows shattered, as a fiery aura surrounded the head of the Black family, "I can easily prey on you, if you like," he growled as his body began levitating off the ground, the aura throwing lightning bolts in every direction.

The sight of his brother's killer seeming to charge up made Ivan growl softly. The power that was filling the area was immense and threatened a fight that was both powerful and deadly. He was not about to let this man off easy, if he could help it. Moving to a shielded area, Ivan lovingly placed Hugo's body out of harms way. He would deal with that after he dealt with his killed. Standing tall and coming back to face him, Ivan cracked his knuckles and allowed a pale blue charge to bounce between his fingers and trickle up and down his forearms. This man was powerful, there was no mistaking that, but Ivan had power, too. Not being phased by the destruction that was sounding around him, Ivan kept his focus on the man before him. "You have me to deal with now after taking an innocent life that was my brother..." he growled back at the man's taunt.

Chuckling at the answer of the foolish man that stood opposite to him, Sirius moved his hand and his shirt vanished, being torn apart by an invisible wind. Extending one of his arms, he pressed his forearm with his hand, turning his veins black, and his eyes completely white. As he took the hand away, two skulls, one with red eyes, and the other with many orifices were drawn onto his arm, the drawing tied to his blood. "Nymph" Sirius uttered the name of the rune soldier, and her powers invaded his body, and he could feel the difference instantly. His eyes could now look into everywhere, even behind his head, and he could see everything around him, as well as feel the invisible claws his mind now controlled. Looking back at Ivan, a set of very sharp claws stabbed his back, whilst another set ripped part of his shirt, the tip of the claws digging into the flesh of the man. "You are not dealing with your average man here," Sirius warned with a cold tone, before blasting the houses around them into oblivion with a snap of his fingers.

Letting out a dark cry that claws stabbed and slashed him, destroying his shirt, Ivan leveled a hard look at the wizard in front of him. "Nor are you," he said between clenched teeth as he clapped his hands together and pushed them, palms out, towards the ground. Muttering an old incantation in Bulgarian that called forth the elemental essence of the ground under their feet, he felt the ground begin to quake. The trembling grew stronger and stronger until the stones beneath the man's feet cracked and lurched, creating an uneven surface that would make one tumble over should they be standing atop the stones. Drawing a shield, nonverbally, over himself, the falling pieces of the destroyed buildings simply glanced off Ivan as he focused mostly on his brother's killer.

Pouncing from the ground as it began shaking under his feet Sirius smirked darkly and extended his hands creating a cloud of fire beneath his feet, that held him above the ground. Throwing his arm in the air he summoned a lightning bolt destroyed all debris that were headed towards him, and then directed the bolt towards Ivan as he began hovering towards him whilst riding the fire.

In a split moment between the lightning forming and heading towards him, Ivan summoned one of the great metal poles from nearby and slammed it into the ground between him and the electricity coming for him. As it connected with the metal, the electricity was shot into the ground where it dispersed safely. Jumping away from the pole, Ivan sent a powerful stream of water to the man's feet to deal with the fire that held him aloft as well as a blast of wind to sent him sailing into the solid stone of piles of rubble that remained from the buildings' destruction.

As he saw the pipe Sirius stopped a chuckle from coming out as he pounced away from the fire cloud as it was swallowed by the jet of water Ivan had created. Rolling in mid air Sirius cast a wave of his own wind parting Ivan's and stopping abruptly right in front of him. Grabbing the pole, Sirius closed and opened his eyes in quick succession until the pole was surrounded by lightning. Smirking Sirius summoned a vortex of fire from behind Ivan, hurling the pole at him at the same time.

Crossing his arms in front of him, Ivan blocked the wave that crashed around him. Opening his eyes and looking at his foe, he quickly produced a round shield around his person. However, the impact of the charged pole and the fire made him wince as a ripple of shock crashed against him. In one swift movement, Ivan pointed his fingers at the pole, allowing the current to join with him. Drawing his other hand down his arm, across his chest, and out, he directed the electricity through his person and into the flames of the vortex. Shifting his stance, Ivan cupped the hand directing the electricity and, with great effort, moved his body, as if throwing a ball through water, taking control of the charged flames and sending them speeding towards his brother's killer.

Grinning Sirius shook his head and allowed the vortex he had created now filled with electricity to come towards him, however, he already had a plan in mind. Picking up the pipe, he held up one hand and used the elements of alchemy he had been taught, and the fire was suddenly replaced by water. Now water and lightning did not exactly work too well which was exactly what Sirius was counting on. Placing a hand on Ivan's shoulder he apparated to the other side of the vortex, so Ivan was supposedly safe, and then apparated back to the place he was in before. Aiming the pipe, he hurled it and it passed through the vortex grabbing its origin, which was basically the wind that was causing the vortex to be tornado like. By grabbing the origin, the pipe literally pulled the vortex into him completely, filling itself with lightning and water, which would cause an amazing shock once it hit the target. And if a human was hit by such thing, he would be dead surely. However, to not make it easy for Ivan to block, Sirius flicked his wrist and the pipe was copied, making another fifty appear flying next to it, coming in from all sides, "You can only dodge so many, and if you apparate..." before he finished he whispered something in a dead language, the language of the rune users, "...the pipes will follow you," Sirius warned as he began walking away.

"Damn..." Ivan uttered as the pipes began heading his way. Apparating to safety seemed like the logical move to make, but something about what the man had said warned him that perhaps it wasn't the best choice in this situation. Instead, he would have to use his skills as a Mercenary to help him. Knowing that what his brother's killer said about not being able to dodge them all, Ivan decided that he would take his chances. What other options did he have? Beginning his collection of tumbling and springing from place to place to avoid the highly charged pipes, Ivan could feel as they impacted the ground only moments after he had moved as well as a tingle beginning to burn in his fingers from touching the stones that were gaining more and more of a charge with each hit of the pipes. Breathing heavily, Ivan looked up to see the man walking away. "No..." he growled under his breath. He wasn't about to let him walk away. Checking the location of the next pipes coming for him, Ivan made a split second decision. Pulling his dagger sheathed in his boot, he apparated behind the man. Holding the blade to his throat, he turned him to face the oncoming pipes that followed him, just as he had hoped they would. "A живот за живот ..." he uttered in his ear, keeping his eyes on the approaching threat.

Translation:

Once the man appeared in front of him Sirius had a cigarette propped between his lips, and he had finished lighting it up. Putting away the lighter he took a long drag from the smoke and exhaled, "You forget..." Sirius smirked as his body began to be engulfed by a white mist, "The pipes only follow you," he stated. The mist was a special form of apparation, one that left no trail behind, and was only available to those with the animagi trait, as they were well versed in transifguration and transformation. This mist would only engulf the animagus and no one else and only he would be taken away from the place leaving the other man behind, and with that Sirius disappeared leaving Ivan to fend off the pipes for himself as he returned to his daughter's side.

Growling darkly as the man began to vanish thanks to a white smoke that only seemed to be concerned with him, Ivan turned his focus to the pipes that were quickly heading his way. If the pipes only followed him, then he would need to deal with them first. Using an old form of elemental magic, Ivan created an opening in the stones beneath his feet and, after sinking into it, closed the opening over his head, encasing himself in the ground. Soon, all around him, he heard and felt each impact as the pipes tried to reach him. Gradually, the charges from the pipes reached him, but nothing more then a strong shock, no stronger then when a child scuffed their socked feet over carpet and then touched something or someone with a zap. His theory that they would discharge into the ground had proven correct.

When all was still, Ivan exited the earth and took a look around for the man. Nothing... Not a trace of him anywhere, magical or otherwise. Cursing loudly, Ivan fell to his knees as he swore on his very life that he would avenge his brother's death. He would hunt down that man and take his life for taking his brother's...
