Sydney was walking through the Great Hall's door books in hand, just as a shot came from somewhere. She looked up and quickly realized it was just the horrible weather. A thunderstorm was definitely coming. "It was just the thunder," she laughed at her friend who had come in with her and now had a horrified expression on her face. "Come on, let's eat something. I'm starving!" She started going to the table, quickly saying a few hellos to her friends in Gryffindor. Syd sat down at the table, took some chicken with rice and started eating, talking to a few of her classmates about school life. Finally, she ate a bit of pie with some pumpkin juice. After finishing, Syd didn't really feel like socializing anymore, so she opened her charms book where she had left off and started reading while the remaining table continued chattering.
