Brothers in arms, Brothers at heart (Ares) [R]

Mars and Ares were stood on a field not too far but not too close from Nexus either. They were hunting but they weren't hunting what any ordinary man would hunt they were hunting their own kind of prey, one that they yes could catch and slay. "Where did you last see it?" he asked his brother whilst he held his gladius and his man sized shield at the ready, both, plus his armor, enchanted with a fireproof potion should the Chinese Fireball get the jump on the Grimm brothers.

"I see it...So what the plan, you advance behind your shield and I flank it? Or head on charge?" Ares was wearing his full battle armour, two swords rested on his back, a war axe on his waist along with a made and in his hand was his Roman sword and Roman shield. His armour and shield enchanted to.protect him from the flames.

Mars smirked and looked over at Ares, his grin told his brother everything, they needed no words but alas, he was in the mood, "Head. On. Charge," he stated and ran, as fast as he could cracking the ground underneath him, whilst he allowed a battle cry to exit his throat. The dragon'd surely hear him and would clearly see him and his brother however, Mars could not care less today, he was in the mood to play with the beast, something of course he shouldn't do but alas, he couldn't help himself.

Ares, the faster of the two, charged sprintin past mars bellowing a war cry. His sword held tight and his shield now on his back, he charged, gaining speed. However. The Dragon saw him.

Staying close to Ares, Mars jumped up sprinting in the air towards the dragon, only to widen his eyes, "What was that saying? What goes up must come do-" before he could finish the dragon took to the skies and swatted his wings sending powerful gusts of wind towards the brothers.

Ares sighed "Mother fuc-" the wave hit him and threw him across the floor he rolled and looked at his brother whom soon landed next to him. "So...the more cautious approach or...You move up behind shield and I sprint in a long arc?" he offered his brother a hand up and chuckled.

Mars rose one of his brows wondering if the cautious approach wouldn't be best, "I think we can take care of him...our way," Conjuring many long chains, he 'tied' them to his gladius, the blade still in his hand. Holding the shield above his head, he covered the dragon and the sun running with the shield easily, "Ares, go," he told his brother.

Ares nodded and dropped his shield breaking off in a fast sprint in a long arc since the dragon was distracted by his brother, as he ran he drew his war axe and katana, as he began to curve towards the dragon.

The demonic fire that came from the dragon's mouth hit his shield and just barely missed Mars, as the man held his weapons steadily. Sheathing his sword he whispered a few words before reaching into his back and finding the sword to be gone. Grinning he waited only two seconds before a large spear appeared on his back. Grabbing hold of it Mars knew it was already fireproof and so, pushing the fire away for a brief moment, hurled the spear at the dragon. It was aimed at the beast's eye, but alas, the spear was broken in half when the dragon closed his jaw on it. Your turn Ares...

Ares had been sprinting as fast as he could he watched his brothers attempt and knew it was his turn. He leaped up and embedded his war axe in the beasts weaker flesh beneath it's jaw, he kept swinging doing a flip and landing on its snout. He raised both hands and pressed the blade into its snout. However it didn't go very deep. He quickly pulled it out and dived pulling the axe out of its jaw and landing roughly, he moved our of the way of its talons and dived missing the winds sent by its wings flaps. He grumbled and got up throwing the axe and laughing as it embedded into the monsters forearm however, it swatted him and he landed roughly

Seeing the beast's arm be exposed Mars grinned and hurled several throwing knives at it, hitting the target perfectly. The dragon tried to wave his arm to swat the knives away, however, large chains clutched around it, bringing his arm down. Mars was suddenly above the beast, having pounced onto its back, and rolled into the air, coming down, and doing one quick slash, doing a deep cut in the beast's arm. However, as he fell back into the floor, the dragon caught him with his jaw. Mars tried to budge it open, however, one of the dragon's sharp teeth pierced his bicep, breaking the shield as well. Thrusting his gladius into his gum, he forced to beast to let him go, however, he was still trapped. One breath and I'm gone, he mused and whipped out his wand, "REDUCTO. CONFRINGO!" he yelled and bright shinning green and blue lights erupted from the beast's mouth, making it budge open, whilst smoke came out of it. Mars jumped down, rolling as he landed. "It's mouth and left arm are weak spots now," he pointed out as he readied himself for the beast to come, allowing his brother to have a turn this time.

Ares stood up and grinned "haha okay, here" he out an end of a sharp chains coil in mars's hand before running and running round the dragon's arm, the sharp edges digging in, he leaped and tied it round the neck, making the Dragon leap as it struggled to snap the chain, he smiled and tied it round it's mouth "hush now drago" he tied the chain up and jumped off, colliding with its right arm as it swung for him, he stumbled and retreated to Mars grabbing the chain with him "pull"

Mars nodded at his brother, as his two rough hands clenched around the chains. Growling he pulled them along with his brother, his dark eyes beaming up at the Chinese Fireball.

Ares grinned. "This will so back fire at some point brother" He gripped the chain and the two Grimm Brothers heaved with all thier might

Mars looked at Ares and gave him a look he knew too well: the no shit look. "Kinda obvious, we are fighting a dragon," Mars seemingly 'reminded' his brother before pulling the chain along with his brother, however, the chinese fireball would not give in.

Ares swatted him and re-gripped the chain. He then through about the tensile strain the chain as a hole have then its maximum stress per loop. He then though if the chain snapped on one end wouldn't it launched the pair towards the dragon...He then decided it wouldn't be long before it happened.
