In the shadows of the night

Ferox was pacing in the shadow of a dark tree, his eyes glaring across the water to the dark building that was towering on the small island where his younger twin brother was locked away with so many others. Not that he cared much for the latter, but Evan needed to get out of there and that would happen tonight. Ferox would make sure that his brother would be at home by tomorrow morning and no one would stand in his way.
Hearing a nose close by, he stopped his pacing and pulled out his wand, gliding bdeeper into the shadows.

"You know, you should really think about using that wand. I mean, attacking your Elder is not exactly the wisest thing to do," Morana stepped out of the shadows, he hood on, only wicked grin to be seen on her lips. Her and Feroy met only briefly, when he accepted The Curse from her, but he was promising member of the order. And so she decided to help him free his brother, hoping Evan would be just the same.

Damien was sitting against a tall tree and watched his lover pacing up and down in front of him. He could easily feel the tenseness and anger radiating off his body, but Damien decided to stay silent for now. Nothing would change the situation anyway and it was better to focus on the task ahead. His hand moved over the groud to where some brooms where lying which they would use to get to the prison.
Suddenly someone approached them and Damien smoothly got to his feet, a calculating expression on his face. This had to be the Traveller Elder, he thought and was quickly answered by her words. "Good Evening, Madam. It is a great honour to have you by our side tonight." he said respectfully.

Slipping his wand back into his pocket, Ferox stepped out of the shadows and bowed slightly towards his Elder. "It is always better to be on your guard than to be sorry afterwards, I think." he replied smoothly, then nodded towards Damien. "This is Damien, he will be with us tonight." he introduced shortly.

Morana only nodded at Damien, still hidden under her hood. Not that she was sure if Damien knew her identity. He shouldn't. Ferox couldn't speak the names of the Elders in front of anyone. Yet Damien was auror. Presence of Morana Gaunt was to be felt strongly for those who knew what to look for. "We are still expecting one last member of our group I believe," she finally spoke again, waiting for Martin to appear.

Martin used his black robe to approach the group unseen and hopefully unheard. "It seems that the meeting has already begun. But I still believe there is one member missing in here. After all that's why we all are here." He bowed a little to Morana. "My Queen..." Even though they were family, he respected her as the Leader of Order. "Young Mr. Rosier..." Nodded in Ferox's direction as well as he did turned to Damien. "And you young one." Looking at them all again he whispered. "So what are we waiting here for?"

Ferox grinned at his father who suddenly seemed to appear out of nowhere. Now that their group was finally complete, they could get started on their plan and Ferox summoned brooms that where hidden by the tree. "Let's get going then. No need to waste precious time here." he growled and jumped on his broom, shooting off into the night sky where he waited for the others to join him.

Morana turned into a raven and quickly disappeared into the darkness, out of everyone's sight as she always did. Looking and waiting for them to get on the way, she only made sure no one was watching them before making her way towards Azakban. Her position was relatively easy. She had to distract guards first. So others could get in. Which was exactly what she did. Using her claws, she caught guars off guard at the gate and made sure they won't see a thing ever again. Humans were gone. Now there were dementory all around, completely focused at her.

Damien inclined his head in respect towards Ferox' father and followed behind the others on his broom. It didn't take them long to reach the island and he jumped off his broom, shrinking it to put it into his pocket before drawing his wand. Creeping up towards the entrance, he could see that the guards were already taken care off and satisfied glint appeared in his eyes.
He could feel the coldness radiating off the dementors inside, but Damien just shrugged it off and proceeded to enter the prison.

Sneaking passed his lover, Ferox took the lead, knowing that his Elder could take care of herself in here. Over the last few days, he had memorized the building and knew exactely where his brother's cell was. They had to make sure to stay undetected till they had got him out, otherwise the ensuing battle would make it very difficult to reach him.
Ferox stopped suddenly and pushed Damien into a dark hallway when a guard marched by. How he would love to just kill him, but now was not the time, so he hurried on towards the stairs.

Damien held his breath, as Ferox pushed against him. That was close and they should better keep their cover as long as they could. When they ascended the stairs, he could feel the atmosphere growing even colder and darker and his expression turned grim. Dementors could really become a problem. If they had to cast their patronus the guards would immediately be alerted to their presence. In the distance, Damien could hear the screams and howls of the prisoners and he hoped that Evan was still sane after over ten years of being locked in here.

Rushing up the stairs in the dark, Ferox only opened the door a bit too look into the corridor in front of them. This was the floor his brother's cell was on and hew knew that some Dementors and guards would be around somewhere, so they had to be quiet. "You're ready?" he asked his lover and his father. They would need to be quick to open the cell and get his brother out before anyone took notice of their arrival.

"Always ready when it comes to save my son." This mission was really in and out. Of course it was his son, but Martin really weren't willing to get caught. That wouldn't help anything. And the same was for Ferox and Damien. "Just don't play heroes if anything goes wrong. Any sign of danger and we're out of here okay? One prisoner is already too much. No need to add another ones or even losing life." But he was still somehow sure that everything will go just as it's needed.

Ferox nodded at his father. That was actually one of the reasons he was glad that his father had come along. He sometimes acted a bit too rashly and needed to be called back when it came down to think locially. "Alright. Off we go then." he said and sneaked through the door to run down the corridor stopping about half-way through it. The cell he found dark and he couldn't see his brother. Still, Ferox could feel his twin in there and let out a quiet whistle.

A low grown came form the darkest corner of the cell, as a shadow rightened himself form the hard floor he had been lying on. That whistle! Evan would know it anywhere. It was how his brother and him used to comunicate when they were young.
But these days were long gone and for over ten years, he had been locked in this hellhole, slowly being driven to insanity from the isolation. Still, Evan managed to drag himself over to the door and looked through the bars. "Ferox?" he croaked, voice almost gone from a decade of no use.

Damien followed Ferox towards the cell and stool next to the door, looking up and down the corridor in case some guard or dementor would approach them. Hearing the broken voice from Evan made him wince in pain and his eyes narrowed in anger at all the people that had locked him in here, but they would pay ... sooner or later, they would all meet a painful end.

"Evan!" Ferox jumped forwards and pulled at the bars, baring his teeth in anger at seeing his little brother so weakened. He looked awful, half starved to death and his eyes strangely bright. "We're here to get you out of there now, brother. Ien and father are here as well and we got a little extra help around, too." he pressed out through clenched teeth, reaching towards his brother through the bars.

Lisbeth walked through Maximum security her eyes drifting over the former minister's cell. "The children were removed?" "Yes M'am Grimm removed them on schedule during the summer" she nodded absently "Who do we have in this block?" she asked her sharp nails trailing along the wall "We have Bellatrix Lestrange" a cackle filled the hall and a guard slammed his boot into the door silencing her "Sirius Black" her eyes lingered for a moment then moved on "Marcus and Nova Shadow, Rabastan Lestrange and thats about it for now" she nodded once more as they walked "Warden explain to me why more then half these criminals havent been kissed yet?" The warden looked at the minister with wide eyes "Madame Minister i..i..its inhumane " "What they did is inhumane" she hissed darkly her eyes boring into his.

Walking the halls with Lisbeth, Jericho peered into each cell as they passed listening to the list of who resided there. Reaching Sirius' cell, he wanted to call out to him, but knew it was pointless. He wouldn't talk to him, not now... Looking back at the warden as he began to expalin why so many of these prisoners are still here and not six feet under, his well trained ears caught the sound of a whistle. Looking down the hall towards where he thought he heard it come from, Jericho's eyes narrowed. Holding up a hand he said softly, "Shhhhhh..... Listen...." Whistles weren't uncommon here, but so far up....it wasn't something you often heard. "Something's not right...." Jericho murmured, drawing his wand and turning his blue eyes to the Minister and the Warden, his features suddenly hard with the seriousness of the matter.

Evan groaned and leaned his forehead against the bars. He could feel his heart beating strongly in his chest, probably for the first time in the last ten years, at hearing his brother's voice.
He stared through the bars at Ferox and his father who was right beside him and shot them a crooked smirk, his eyes insanely bright. "Finally, you old wanker. I thought you had decided to let me rot here..." Evan growled and started laughing, his voice crackling and echoing in the small cell.

Lisbeth's eyes widened as she caughtt the end of a laugh "I want men on all floors, lock the gates no one is getting out" she hissed "Young, With me" taking off in a dead sprint the minister threw herself off the top floor grabbing one of the many chains that hung down into the pit she slid down the chain as a alarm blared.

"Shut the fuck up, you loon!" Ferox hissed at his brother, but Evan had never been good at keeping it together even if his life depended on it, or in this case, all of their lives. "Stand back..." he growled and pointed his wand at the cell door, mutting an incantion. With a clicking noise the door opened and he pulled his bother out and into a tight embrace.

As Evan got out of the cell, Martin felt relieved. "It's nice to see you son. Yet please let's not turn this into an emotional storm. There will be enough time for that once we get out. It would be really dumb getting caught in here. I don't want this effort to be useless. We're not here to see each other, but to get Evan out." Yet still a little smile appeared on Martin's face.

Morana finally made it and caught up with others. Turning into human she looked at them. "Minister is here. And she knows about us," she told them quickly, before she turned into a raven again and disappeared in the dark, ready to cover them in case things go really wrong and she will be able to help. Like stab someone from behind.

Damien had been standing silently next to the cell, keeping guard, but he winced slightly at the insane laugh, Evan let out. That guy had always been nutters and Azkaban did obviously nothing to improve that.
When Morana arrived an confirmed what he had already feard, Damien knew it was time to leave. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out Evan's wand which had been confiscated when he was imprisoned. "Take this and let's get out of here." he stated calmly and then turned to walk back the way they had come from.
