The Dance of Dragons (Kaida) (R)

Draco looked in the mirror one last time, he wore a simple pair of black pants with a loose black button down shirt. Since the party that ended in disaster he hadn't been able to get kaida off his mind. Smoothing his hair he slid his plain black robe over his broad shoulders and headed to the common room. Silently he prayed she had received his invitation and would not decline him. A single black rose in his hand he stood waiting for his lady to descend.

Kaida fixed her hair in the mirror and glanced at the invitation once more. She had to admit she did like Draco, more than she cared to admit. He made her heart skip a beat whenever he saw him and she just couldn't get him off her mind. Putting on a black blazer with a blue collar, she walked downstairs with a light smile. Seeing Draco, her smile grew a bit and her heart did the infernal skipping of a beat. ''My...You do clean up nice.'' Kaida compliment, her blond curls framing her delicate face.

Kaida's dress:

"As do you m'lady" he said kissing the back of her hand "I am releived that you are joining me this evening"

Kaida smiled lightly, holding out her hand for him to kiss which he does. ''Why would i pass by such an opportunity? It's not every day you receive an invitation from a handsome person.'' She winked playfully.

Smiling he took her arm and led her from the common room "i'm honored you think so" he purred, leading her to a empty class room he opened the door to reveal a small romantic corner of the room set up with food and wine.

Kaida leaned into him as he led her some place. Gasping softly at the room, her hand covered in her mouth in light shock. ''D-Draco...You did this? For me?'' She couldn't believe it. No one had ever done such a thing for her. ''It looks wonderful, Draco.'' Kaida complimented after collecting herself for she wanted nothing more than to kiss the boy next to her as a thank you.

He smiled at her pleased that she was surprised, leading her into the room he held out her chair and as she sat down he placed another rose on her plate. "Your worth it kaida" he smiled, picking up a bottle of wine he poured it in her glass then his. Placing his robe on the back of his chair he sat down. "i know its not much...I did the best i could"

Kaida picked up the rose and placed it under her nose, its scent surrounded her and caused her to relax. Smiling at Draco from across the table, she placed the rose to the side and took his hand. ''It's perfect, Draco...'' She admitted truthfully, releasing his hand as she picked up her glass and sipped the wine with grace.

"if you will permit me, i'd like to get to know you" he said drinking some of his wine

Kaida shuffled in her chair, raising her eyebrow. ''What do you wish to know?'' She asked, smiling into the glass.

"ANything you wish to share" he said "what do you like to do? what is it like waking up in a new world, do you miss your old life? whats your mother like?" he prompted her she intrigued him and he truly wished to know her.

Kaida chuckled at his questions. ''I like to read, play piano. I like to ride my horse..hm..i do enjoy annoying my guards as they can't do anything to harm me.'' She answered the first question and then furrowed her brow, placing down the glass of wine. ''It was odd. Things had changed so much and it was hard, it still is, to get a grasp of everything. I had to spend a few days reading up the history and learning everything that i've missed. It's refreshing though. I can literally have a new life.'' She explained and then tilted her head. ''I do miss it...but i am glad i have this life. I suppose i just miss my old guards. They were protecting me ever since i was born...they were friends and good company but then i was put into the sleep. They simply grew old or died in battle.'' Pausing for just a moment, she smiled lightly at the question about her mother. ''My mother is...powerful, extremely protective as is the rest of my family. She's cunning, sly, manipulative when she needs to be. She's the perfect mother and the only person i've ever truly loved.'' Kaida explained, biting her lip as she smiled.
