As the students sat down for class the professor looked around wringing his hands and chattering to himself in a low voice. Pacing as they settled down he looked around "We..welcome T..to De...fee..nse against ..the d-d-dark arts" he stammered bitting his lip "T--tell m..e what do..y--you know on th-----the topic"

Ian sat down in the front row, excited for his first lesson of defense against the dark arts. He had already looked into his textbook to know what would await him in this class and now was eager to finally get started.
He looked slightly worried at his friends when the professor started talking. How was the man to teach them how to defend themselves if he seemed scared of his own shadow?, he wondered confused.

Neville followed the rest of the class into the room and sat down in the second row. He could easily feel with his stuttering teacher, knowing how hard it was to speak in front of other people. At least this teacher would probably not try to intimidate him, like Professor Snape.

Adrastos went into the classroom, yawning as he had been doing all day. He hadn't seen Ricky for days, he hadn't been to classes, hadn't been around Hogwarts and he was starting to get seriously worried, his friend never strayed for too long, maybe a night out or two when he was mostly annoyed with the world but never this long.

Harry walked inside the classroom along with Ron and they sat at the middle, on the same table. Adrastos was on the table next to them, saving Ricky's seat it seemed like he did always. Harry didn't gulp, but he did eye Quirrel closely. Although he had met the man and knew of his stuttering...problem, he didn't know what kind of teacher he was and he didn't want another Snape on top of him.

Atticus entered with Malphas, for once, as they halted their conversation and took a step outside the classroom. Mulciber, Lucius, Archard and Kain came in and then also took a step outside. They laughed their asses off, before each entered with a very serious demeanor. Mulciber sat with Lucius, Kain with Archard and Atticus with Malphas, those last two, in the front.

Ricardo dragged himself into the classroom, emitting a small growl as he did. He looked terrible, his hair was much messier than usual, his eyes barely opened, his arms barely stretched, as he moved, his legs danced nearly making him fall.  His clothes were ripped apart by claws, and he nearly collapsed if not for Adrastos jumping out of his seat and holding him. He smell of blood and exhaustion, and Adrastos took a look back at the professor, he took a deep breath, and glared at the professor for a brief moment, before taking Ricardo out of the classroom, as he was in no condition to be there.

"Defense against the dark arts, the subject in which most of us learn how to defend ourselves against dark creatures, dark arts, and charms. All in all, this is the subject Ricardo seemingly most needs," Malphas uttered and followed his words with a bark like laugh which made the rest of the class do the same. Although that made Malphas receive a powerful glare from Harry.

Mio took the seat next to Ian and leaned back with a sigh. If the teacher was as bad as his father had made him out to be, this class would be a disaster, but being the good Gryffindor that he was, Mio would do his best to achieve a good grade in this class as well. He shrugged at Ian's confused expression and waited for the lesson to start.

Artemis walked into the class with Aphrodite right behind her. They were smirking to each other and Artemis sat right behind Atticus whilst Aphrodite sat to the right of her. ''Oh for fuck sake...'' Artemis whispered when she heard Professor Quirrel speak. ''At this rate, we'll have finished this lesson by next week...'' Aphrodite whispered, a playful smirk tugging at her red lips. The two girls were dressed the same. Short skirts, tight tops but their robe covering them in case a professor questions it. Artemis began drawing on her piece of parchment, already waiting for the lesson to be over.

Ember rushed into the class thinking she was late and saw the sight of Ricardo, instantly getting worried. She watched his friend take him away and looked back at the class before sprinting off after Ricardo to do anything to look after him.

David was looking forward to this class, despite the teacher being a complete mess. he would try his best, since this subject seemed like the best and most useful of all the current ones. Charms was useful, as was Transfiguration, since he kinda had his hopes up on becoming an animagus.. but DADA seemed like it would be the one to save his hide in the future.

He sat on Mio's other side. flashing a smile to his friends.

Rowan entered DADA and took a seat somewhere in the middle of the class. She had already read half of the textbook for this class, and was actually looking forward to it. As the Professor began to speak, she hoped that he wasn't as skittish about everything as he appeared to be. Never judge a book by it's cover... She was making a header on her parchement for notes when she looked up at an unfamiliar shuffle entering the room and nearly gasped as she saw Richardo, an absolute mess, dragging his body into class. Seeing him nealy fall and Adrastos catch him, removing him from class, Ember close on their tails, she looked back at the parchment she had started to prepare for today. Eyeing the professor, she stoppered her ink tightly before scooping everything into her bag and headed out after them.

Sure he was a Gryffindor, but he was a friend, and if she could help, then she was going to do whatever she could to help...
