Let us Run through the fields of friendship (Ivy)

Ivy smiled. "Oh...well...thanks," she said. She tried not to be awkward, but she couldn't help it sometimes. Adastros wasn't hard to look at either, and it wasn't the first time that she had noticed it. She looked up at him, smiling shyly. Just as she was starting to seem confident.

"You should say I'm cute now," he teased, as he pushed her lightly. Of course he was joking, he didn't need nor want to hear that. He much preferred leaving his compliment in the air and not hear one directed at himself. It'd just increase his pride.

Ivy laughed. "Well, I wouldn't be lying if I said you were," she said. Her cheeks were turning redder with each passing second, so much that she could almost feel it. she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, just to keep herself occupied. She liked the fact that Adastros seemed to interested in her, but it was also a foreign concept to her.

"Well thank you," he said. Adrastos snorted when he saw the color of her cheeks turn from a soft ivory, to a crimson red. "You seem to get even cuter when you're blushing," he murmured. He had never been shy, and he wouldn't start now.

Ivy laughed. "You see, that just makes me blush more," she said. Ivy felt so awkward, but comfortable at the same time. It was an odd feeling, but she liked it. Her heart was beating loudly in her ears, but she knew that was just nervousness. what she was nervous about, that was another question.

"Want me to kiss your cheeks to make the blush go away?", he asked. He was not sure if he was joking or not this time around. There was a part of him that was always joking, but he was pretty sure by now, that part of him was deep asleep. So he had no idea what was driving him now, other than his sense for jokes.

Ivy raised a eyebrow, and thought about the question for a moment. "I don't see why not," she said. Even in her awkwardness, her bubbliness still shown through. She smiled at him, not really sure what she was doing anymore. This whole situation was so out of her comfort zone, but at the same time she was okay with it.

Adrastos leaned forwards and held her face in his hands. He pecked one of her cheeks, and then the other, before he stopped, his eyes gazing into hers, their lips close to each other. His heart was beating, wanting to come out, and what scared him was, he didn't know why it was doing such a thing.

Ivy's heartbeat became louder in her ears, no matter how much she tried to silence it. She glanced at Adastros' lips, but she didn't move. She wasn't the type to make the first move, always nervous that she was misunderstanding the whole situation. She didn't think that was the case here, but she could never be too sure. She just stayed quiet and steady. As steady as she could be anyways.

Adrastos sighed, then put on the biggest smile he could put on, though clearly, it wasn't that wide. His eyes couldn't get off her lips, and all his mind and heart were telling him was to kiss her. But he didn't really know what to do. He wanted to, but he was afraid he'd spook Ivy. The hell with it... he thought and without any hesitation, crushed the girl's lips with his own.

Ivy leaned into Adastros' kiss, moving naturally. While she wasn't surprised by the kiss, her heart still jumped a bit. It was her first kiss, and she wasn't entirely sure what she was doing. She pulled away after a moment, smiling sweetly at him. She bit her lower lip innocently, her cheeks turning redder than ever. "I should get going," she said. She didn't mean to run off, but she wasn't sure what else to do. She smiled at him over her shoulder as she walked off, then smiled to herself silently. She was happy to a point where she was almost giddy. So much for not fitting in.

Adrastos was left with a sweet taste in his lips, and his heart threatening to exit his chest. He looked on as Ivy walked away, and was stunned to the point he couldn't even smile back at her. He tried, but he simply couldn't. He wasn't entirely sure what had just happened meant for the two of them, but he knew what he wanted it to mean...
