[OPEN!] Drinking Alone is Seldom Good
Spencer crinkled her nose as she experienced the burn of fire whiskey. She had never had the drink before but despite its aggressive taste she found she enjoyed it. Tapping the counter for a replacement beverage, she wondered if it would even be a good idea to have another. It would make her seventh and she was far from a seasoned drinker. One more won't hurt, she thought as she downed the liquid. Feeling her head spin, she took back her previous thought. She was about to ask for some water when somebody dropped into the stool next to her and caught the bartender's attention first.

“Bubble juice, please. Add a hint of cherry syrup to that too, as usual,” Andromeda seemingly mumbled to the bartender as she slid into the stood. Regardless of her tone, he still heard her complacently and began clinking glasses to prepare her drink. “Oh, sorry,” she said to the girl beside her that appeared to be around her age. “Is that.. firewhiskey? You know, that stuff is horrible on your system.” After her spontaneous binges on alcoholic beverages to help he maintain her alertness, she had developed a brilliant knowledge of mixology. Andromeda gave the girl a disapproving shake of her head and carefully unraveled the clean parchment from her traveling bag. As she waited for the bartender to return, she slowly traced her finger along the words in attempt to comprehend as much as she could.

Spencer smiled slightly as the younger woman made her order. Shaking her head slightly, she said, "It's alright." She then turned her attention to the bar tender and said in a slightly husky voice, "Just a glass of water this time, please."
The woman looked down at the empty glass on the counter and wondered how to respond to the statement. Of course she knew. But she wondered if she should include the so-called them 'benefits' as well. Such as being able to numb your thoughts, or pain. Not that Spencer herself had much emotional pain. What with a loving mother and father and plenty of family to support her. "Oh, I know. But I'm sure you've felt the need to just let go."
That is what she was doing. Letting go and having some fun, although she was alone, and she was supposed to be attending a job interview the next morning. Returning her attention to the brunette seated next to her, she said, "Do I know you from somewhere?" Spencer recognised something about her. Was she in her year when she was in school? Or perhaps she had an older sister?
