A stroll around the alley

Alyrin sighed as he walked around Knockturn Alley, his long hair bouncing around his head as he walked the streets, his gaze down, making sure that he kept a lock of hair over his eyes so that he would feel safer and more guarded.

He eventually stopped walking for a little bit, and leant against a wall in Knockturn Alley, sighing as he relaxed against it, running a hand through long, greasy hair, slumping against the wall for a few seconds, trying to work out where to go next

Sirius stepped outside Borgin and Burkes, along with Alastor, in their black robes. Knockturn Alley wasn't known for having hospitality towards blood traitors and aurors. Not that Alastor and Sirius would have a problem taking care of themselves, but still, best be careful. Soon though, Alastor left Sirius to take care of some business, as the boy simply walked around the alley. 

As he kept walking, he came to an abrupt stop, and jerked his head. He glanced towards the boy that was leaning against a wall, and chuckled, before removing the hood of his robe. "Alyrin," Sirius stated, coming closer to the boy. He was another gryffindor, like Sirius himself, and it was quite normal for Padfoot to know his name. Plus, Sirius, somehow, had paid attention to the sorting ceremony this year. He remembered little Tarbeck all too well.... "What're you doing here all alone kiddo?" he asked casually, leaning against the same wall Alyrin was leaning on. They at least shouldn't summon the attention of the other, less respectful wizards, that walked around Knockturn Alley.

Alyrin looked at the other boy, who he recognised as Sirius Black, before smiling briefly

"Just hanging out here" he said with a shrug, brushing his hair over his eyes, then turning his gaze to Sirius.

"What about you?" he asked Sirius, half smiling despite himself.

Soren had been wandering around trying to see if he could get any information for the Order and figured that Knockturn Alley would but a just as good place to start as any. The place was no doub full of those who wanted to destroy all that was good. He was standing on a corner chewing on an apple when he saw a kid. If they were recruiting this young then things were bad.

He was walking towards the kid when he saw another one walk aup and start talking to the kid. Footsteps ending in his walk over he stared the twos over. "What are you two doing here? Don't you know this place is dangerous for kids?"

Alyrin gave a slight grin to Sirius "Don't worry, I'm not in any trouble. I just like wandering these places by myself" he smiled. Alyrin did not overly worry wandering these places, as nobody often noticed him and he stuck to the shadows.

He then looked at the new man. "Greetings sir" he said "What's your name?". He looked around briefly, wondering whether anyone else was there.

Soren smiled at bit at the boy, "My name is Soren and you really shouldn't be wandering around here. This isn't a very hospitable place if you will." he said. The kid was polite enough but it didn't excuse him for being there.He looked over at the other kid. "Mister Black. How are you today? Might I ask what you too are doing here?" he asked.

Sirius took another long drag from his cigar, holding it in between his fingers, as he blew the smoke into the air. He smirked, sighing with pleasure, as the smoke seemingly got him more relaxed. "I'm fine, Soren." he answered, as some ashes from the cigar dropped to the floor, "Been running errands with Alastor, but nothing too huge. I was about to leave, but yeah, then I came across Aly here, so I stopped to make sure everything was alright. What're you doing here?" he asked, placing the cigar back in his mouth, and winking at Alyrin with a small grin. Little Gryffindors always made him smile...

Alyrin looked at Soren, frowning for a moment. He then nodded his head.

"Fair point" he said "All places are dangerous, though some, like here, have a slightly higher chance of being dangerous than others do".

"Although there are some nice dark cosy corners around here. Most wizards-Dark or otherwise-don't really see them." he added.

The kid was right but that was the point. They were kids and they shouldn't be here but he felt safer knowing Sirius was there with the kid. "Just take care of yourselves ok? I better not hear of either of you two getting in trouble." he said the stared at Sirius and thought about his question. Soren hadn't seen Philip in about a year and had been looking on and off in hopes of seeing him again. He was about to give up searching for him again. "I was looking for someone Mister Black. I don't need a reason to be here though. I am an adult and can very well look after myself."

Alyrin smiled at Soren momentarily

"Don't worry, we won't get into trouble" he said, leaning back against the wall.

"Someone?" Sirius asked intrigued, but smirked, shrugging the thought off, "Just don't be hunting Death Eaters alone, because you're taking all the fun for yourself." he said with a kinder smile, before putting the cigar back into his lips. "As Aly said, we won't get into trouble. Ya don't have to worry!" he reassured Soren, before throwing the cigar to the ground and stepping on it, "Never did like the band part..." he muttered with a hidden smirk.

Soren knew about Sirius and it was all good with a bit of mischief added in the mixture. He smiled at the two boys before looking at his watch. "Well I had better be going. I will talk to you both eventually so later." he said and started walking off. He stopped a few feet away and said " Oh and do keep that promise about not getting in trouble. Cheers" and then he walked off.

Alyrin waved to Soren "Sure thing, man!"

He then looked at Sirius "So.. what shops are around this area, then?"

"Sure thing Soren," Sirius said with a smirk, before glancing down at Alyrin, "Well, depends on what you're looking for. There's that place over there," Sirius pointed a store, darkly light, "Sells potions, and certain books. Mostly about the dark arts. That one over there," he motioned for Alyrin to look to his left, "Has dark creatures, and sells them to whoever wants pets as such," then, Sirius turned his head to the darkest store in the alley, "And that's...Borgin and Burkes...filled with Dark items..." he said, jerking his head, before looking at Aly once more, "I can take you in any of them, with no problem." he said, with a grin.

"Hmm... a lot of dark items here" Alyrin jokes.

"Shall we have a look inside one of them?" he asks

"Take a pick, and I'll take you there." Sirius stated with a half grin, before taking out his wand. He took out the robe he was wearing, and with a swift wand move, duplicated it. He put on his robe once more, and handed the other one to Alyrin, "Take this, it'll turn us...somewhat incognito," he explained, before pulling the hood of his robe up, shadowing his face with darkness.

"Sounds good" said Alyrin.

He put the hood on, covering his face.

"I don't mind which shop we go to first" he said

I did want to buy some potions the other day, he thought, before nodding at Alyrin, "Come on then," he whispered, walking towards the store. No one noticed Sirius nor Alyrin. To the people, they were just normal people that were probably at knockturn alley everyday. 

Sirius entered the store, holding the door open, so Alyrin could follow him in.

Alyrin followed Sirius, keeping his hood drawn around his face so that nobody would see him.

He followed him through the door, looking around the shop.

"You can get potions here?" he asked

"Yes, and dark books," Sirius whispered firmly, before moving into one of the halls, staring at a shelf. "Keep close to me," Sirius whispered again, as he glanced at the many potions that laid in that shelf. He reached out, and picked up one of them, "Peruvian Instant Darkness Pouder. Not even Lumos will help you with this one," he said, setting the potion back on the shelf, "Ah, there we go," Sirius said, nearly ripping one of the potions from the shelf, and hiding it in his cloak. "This one is special. Lets go, I'm not wasting money on this." he smirked, and jogged a bit faster to the door, as he knew the protecting incantations the store had would soon lock the door to the street, and Sirius and Alyrin would be locked inside.

Alyrin hastened for the exit, not wanting to be locked in, but not before he quickly grabbed some Peruvian Darkness Powder for himself.

"What potion did you get?" he asked Sirius.

Sirius smirked, glancing at his potion, "Something Alastor Moody asked me to find, because he doesn't have the time." Sirius stated, budging another grin. In fact, he had just got a sample of the draught of the living dead. Perfect to threaten death eaters. As he hid his potion deep within his robe, he turned to the next store.

"Alright, off we go to this one now..." he chuckled, slowly walking to the dark store, always covering his face with his hood. He opened the door, once more keeping it open, so Aly could get in.

Aly covered his face with his hood, nodding in thanks to Sirius as he kept the door open for him.

He looked around curiously at the store "What are we looking for?" he asked

Sirius slowly hushed Alyrin, as they passed a caged beautiful woman. Her skin was pale, and Sirius himself shivered as he passed by her. She moaned loudly, and although her singing was pleasant, Sirius felt uncomfortable, "That's a banshee....whenever she sings, someone is going to die!" He rubbed his arm, and glanced at Alyrin, "Hard to believe she was caught..." he shook his head and kept moving, spotting a metal cage.

Bowing his head, he read the name tag, 'Manticore'. Sirius smirked, and turned to Aly, "Okay, I seem to have found what I needed to find. I'm gonna go talk with the owner of this wretched place, to see if he can do me a favor...stay here." he said, walking towards the counter where an old man, with a dirty beard, stood.
