You Don't Like to Gossip?! (Hermione)

"Yes, I promise that I'll come and find you later!" Lavender laughed as her friend walked away to meet up with her sister. It was the first Hogsmeade weekend of the term, and the two Gryffindor girls had walked to the village together. Now, though, she was going to have to find something else to do. As she continued walking down the street, she saw a familiar head a bushy hair a few metres in front of her. "Hermione? Hermione!" Lavender called to get her housemate's attention.

Hermione was on her way to the book store when she heard her name, turning she smiled "Hullo Lavender"

"Hey," Lavender said as the other girl turned around. Looking around quickly, she girl frowned slightly before adding, "you're by yourself? Where are Ron and Harry? Don't they usually follow you around?" Laughing for a moment, she walked closer and hooked her arm with Hermione's at the elbow. "That's okay! We can have some girl time, right?"

She smiled wanely and nodded "Why not" she said softly placing a hand over Lavender's as they walked intot he village.

As there finally reached the village, Lavender let out a quiet giggle before saying, "I'm sorry for talking your ear off!" The remaining trip to Hogsmeade had consisted a whole lot of Lavender talking and very little of Hermione answering. "Shall we get some tea?"
