Sammy entered the chief office and cleared his throat. His boss was writing something on a parchment, but looked up at him. "I'm sorry to bother you, Sir, but a friend of mine was just here and asked me to file a report." he told him. Auror John smirked at him "Congrats, Sammy, my boy, your first case. Come sit down and tell me what you got." he beckoned him to a chair in front of his desk and Sammy sat down and pulled out his notes.

"Alright, Oliver Blackstone, first year student at Hogwarts was in Hogsmeade at noon on Saturday. When he was about to leave, a young man stole his bag. He described him as about six feet tall, long brown hair, tanned and he was wearing a black robe. He said he must have been an older student or a dropout. That's all.. Oh and he had a scar on his left hand. A line from the knuckles to the wrist." he trailed off and looked up at the auror.

"Mhm ... alright, that seems to be quite a simple matter... Simple, not easy." he stated. "The description will definitely help us." He got up and walked over to Sammy. "Good, come one then, we will apparate to Hogsmeade and look for witnesses. I don't think the lad comes from another city. He probably is either a student or lives in Hogsmeade, so I'm sure, someone will know him." He started to walk to the lifts and Sammy followed him, eager to start his first case.
