Ghost (Open)

Ronan had a melody in his head, but it was unlike any melody he had ever thought of before. This was faster and more intense. oMost people didnt know that he liked to write songs too because of Vanessas talents, but he did. He grabbed his song book and began writing:

This one's for the kids that walk around with their hoodies up
No one to talk so end up on the verge of givin' up
Same shit, different day, nothing seems to work out
Headphones on, always tryin' to tune the world out
And this one's for the kids who get picked last
Yeah, so might as well just skip gym class
Why not? I bet no one would even notice
'Cause no one really cares when you're down, feeling hopeless
And this one's for the kids at lunch sit slone
So embarassed you pretendin' that you're on the phone
But then you realize that it doesn't really help
'Cause ain't nobody on the line, you're just talking to yourself

It was a quiet afternoon, quite different from the past few days, and Nyx was strolling through the castle, barely noticed by the other students, looking for something, or someone to occupy her mind. As always, she was rather bored and as she had not seen any of her family members, friends or even her girlfriend, she needed someone else. Entering the library, Nyx spied an older Ravenclaw boy scribbling something into a notebook and she walked up behind him silently, as she had been taught to look over his shoulder. It was not the typical homework notes, as she had expected but what seemed to be lyrics of some sort. "You are a writer?" Nyx asked softly, taking a seat beside him.

Ronan jnumped at the sound of a voice and he quickly covered the lyrics he had been working on. "You know its not polite to spy on people." He smiled softly to show he was just joking. "But yes, I am a writer. I am Ronan Masters. I dont believe I have had the pleasure of meeting you yet." He eyed her up and down and smiled, she was gorgeous

The smile that appeared on the Slytherin's face was the picture of innocence and raised her hands slowly. "Forgive me, Ronan, I did not mean to spy." she said, sounding absolutely honest while not meaning a word of what she was saying. What did she care for what was polite and what wasn't? Nothing.
Inclining her head a little, Nyx introduced herself as well. "My name is Nyx Mulciber, my brother is in your year, is he not?" she said thoughtfully. Sometimes, it was hard to keep up with all the people frequenting the castle, but Nyx always tried to stay informed. "What kind of things do you write? Poems?" she asked him curiously.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Nyx." She then asked about her brother and he shook his head. "I do not know. I do not know many people. What is your brothers name?" If she said his name maybe it would ring a bell. But he didnt know for sure. He blushed as she asked what he wrote, "Um songs, actually. So like poems, but with music."

"His name is Thanatos. Slytherin as well of course, as are all of my siblings." Nyx told the other student, trying not to let her pride in her family show too much. Most people were put off by that if not even insulted and she always tried to prevent that from happening. Her interest was aroused when he told her of his writings and she crooked her head to the side slightly in thought. "I see...music. Do you sing as well or do you just compose?"

"I do not believe I hae had the pleasure of meeting him. I will put it on my to do list though." He smiled and showed her the lyrics he had been writing. "I do sing. I also do a little bit of rap. Which is just fast talking." He bega reading off his new lyrics with rapid speed

Nyx chuckled softly and nodded at the other student. "Quite right, you really should do that." she agreed easily. It was always most interesting to see her older brother interact with other people, especially people that were not of pure blood. "Rap?" The strange word had caught her name and Nyx looked up at the boy in confusion. "I have never heard of that. Are you muggleborn?" she interrupted him, her voice holding only a gentle curiousity, though inside, she was sneering at the thought.

Ronan chuckled as she asked if he were a muggle born. "No I am not. I am a halfblood." He was surprised she didnt recognize his name, but then again, alot of people at Hogwarts didnt. That was both good and bad. "Rap is basically speed talking as I said before. Its quite interesting to me." He smiled and noticed how beautiful she was. But he was with Chelsea

Nyx breathed a sigh of relief and nodded thoughtfully at the older boy. "It does sound rather weird, though, does it? I don't care much for modern music, I must admit. I prefer the old classics." she explained, turning her head slightly, so that her hair fell across one shoulder and she brushed it back again, revealing her pale neck to the boy. She had seen the admiring looks he was giving her and decided that a little flirt would show her if he was actually interested. "You do have a very nice voice, you know?" Nyx smiled sweetly at him, pretending to be a little shy as she lowered her head to look up at him through her long lashes.

Ronan chuckled at her innocence. Whether or not it was real, he did not know. He smiled and nodded, "The classics are lovely. But I do love a bit of the modern stuff. Something about teh ebats and the melodies really speak to me." He smiled and cuckled softly

"Maybe I could understand a little better if you would sing something to me? Something modern, but not this ... rap?" Nyx asked curiously, leaning forward slightly to place her hand gently on his knee. "I would really like to hear you sing something." A soft smile was on her lips and she looked deeply into his eyes, her face close enough to his, so that her soft breath tickled his cheek.

Ronan smiled and grabbed a guitar from beside him. He strummed the chords and began to sing, "I was sleeping with my heart tucked under my pillow Looking at the world through a blacked-out window The last one left, she broke my heart in two a million pieces, that girl isn't you, no Hit my heart got a boombox feeling Knocked me out, now I'm staring at the ceiling My colours faded, you broguth them back to life You let me in, it feel so good inside, yeah."

Nyx smiled softly and crossed her legs, resting her linked hands on them as she closed her eyes to listen to the music the older student played for her. The sound was quite strange on her ears for purebloods rarely ever listened to muggle music, especially not those that placed such great importance in their bloodline like the Mulcibers. And yet, she found herself enjoying the song, the up-beat rhythm and the romantic lyrics. Nyx' smiled widened into a true expression of enjoyment and she started tapping her foot along with the beat. "That really is a very sweet song, Ronan." she said, when he finished playing. "Thank you very much." Nyx leaned forward and brushed her lips gently against his cheek.

Ronan blushed as he kissed ehr cheek and he got an idea. "Come here." He walked behind her and sat down. He placed the guitar on her lap and picked her hands up in his. He placed her hands on the strings and began to play a few chords with her fingers. "Its rather easy if you have a good teacher." He could smell the shampoo in her hair. it smelt heavenly

Nyx snickered softly at his blush. Boys were so easy to charm, she thought, though the Ravenclaw was quite adorable and she decided not to use it to her advantage, at least for now. Moving her chair a little closer to his, Nyx let him guide her hands to the guitar and looked on in surprise as actual notes came out of it. "Oh ... I can feel the vibrations of the guitar in my body..." she said mesmerized. Nyx turned her head slightly to look at the boy and smiled sweetly at him. "You really are a good teacher, I seems to be so easy with you guiding me." 

"That happens on occasion." When he was with Nyx, it seemed like nothing else mattered. He got that way with Chelsea, but not as intense. He cleared his throat and played a few strings before singing, "White lips, pale face Breathing in snowflakes Burnt lungs, sour taste Light's gone, day's end Struggling to pay rent Long nights, strange men." He smiled and let his lips brush against her neck with each word

Smiling gently at his words, Nyx kept silent as he started to sing again, this time, the tune was a little slower than the former, but just as pleasant to listen to. She let her fingers tangle in his hair while he played and leaned slightly against him. His kisses did not come unexpected and the little devil inside of her head begged for Amara to come and find them now. Nyx turned her head a little, so that the Ravenclaw could not see her smile turning more sinister. Oh how she loved to play with people. It was the greatest entertainment you could get. She chuckled darkly, but quickly shot the boy a warm smile to cover it up. "I like that song even better. It has more feeling." she said the first thing that came to mind.

"Yeah, its one of Chelseas favorites of mine." He hesitated when he mentioned Chelsea. This technically wasnt cheating, was it? He didnt know. He just shook his head and continued strumming. He decided to switch it up a bit and strummed a bit faster but still upbeat, "Youre insecure, dont know what for. Youre turning heads when you walk through the door." He contonued strumming and smiled at the girl. If he wasnt with Chelsea... damn the things he would do to her
