To clean the head... (Marvolo)

Rabastan was sitting on the ground, leaned on tree and closed his eyes. Sun almost disappeared behind horizon and it was almost time to go, but he didn't want to think about that. He didn't want to think about anything. He felt so tired after last few days. Specialy this afternoon. But he had his pride to hex those two on spot. He looked for Zoya, but she was nowhere to be found. Rabastan could only guess it was because of upcoming exams. Zoya was always messy, he could clearly imagine her being crazy because she is afraid she will fail. He must take her on icecream once exams are done. They havent seen each other for weeks.

Marvolo landed softly on the grass her hair windswept and her robes askew from flying. Walking towards the lake she straightened her clothes her broom now shouldered she smiled when she saw Rabastan there "Rabs" she called out "What dark hole have you been hiding in?"

He looked up to see person he didnt want to see at all. He looked at her with his angry eyes, but didnt answer. Only turned his eyes away, hypnotizing dark waters of Black Lake. He wasnt in mood to talk. Specialy not with her. Besides he felt that if he talk, if he even move, he will have to send cruciatus at her.

Marvolo frowned at his distant reaction, crossing the distance between them she leaned her broom against the tree and knelt down next to him "Rabastian whats wrong" she said her face full of concern she laid a hand on his arm.

"Do me a favour please? Don't touch me, if you must be here," he hissed at her as he looked into her eyes again. She had no idea. How could she not know?

"Rabastan" she said her voice cracking with emotion her hand fell from his shoulder and she looked at him despretley "talk to me please....."

"Like you talked to bloodtraitor Black you mean? I am afraid, my little girl, that its not going to happen," he hissed into her ear as he got up and went closer to the Black Lake.

Her brow furrowed as she tried to discern what he was talking about "you mean when I destroyed him in a duel? is this about the fact that he kissed me?"

"Of course, it was only him," he turned to her and went closer to her again. "I am not interrested in explanations. You were the one so scared of heart break and now you are the one to flirt with every worthless stupid idiot in this school. If they were at least worth it. But seriously?! Black, Snape, Potter? And in front of everyone? How pathetic you are," he hissed to her, still close to make her feel even more uncomfortable.

"I didn't flirt with fucking Potter for one" she said hottly "I've become close with snape but we are just friends or are friends not permitted? and I didn't kiss Black I was stabbing him in the goddamn ribs when he kissed me obviously you only showed up midway through the fight and left before potter had to drag black to the infirmary after I almost killed him and Snape almost destroyed his back."

"Well maybe you should date Snape than, when you are such a good buddies," he hissed back. "Like I said, I am not interrested in explanations. Or apologies what so ever. I don't care. And I won't waste my loyality on girl, who is not willing to do the same," he said coldly as he stepped away from her. "You are maybe Gaunt princess, but that doesnt mean I let you humiliate me," he added.

"I didn't do anything to humiliate you Rabs!" she said imploringly "if anything defeating potter and black should be making you proud, I am a third year and I bested not one gryffindor prince but two. I'm your girl Rabastan please just listen to me"

"No, my dear, you are everyone's girl, you made it pretty clear to everyone including me," he said. "And I am not going to share whats mine with someone else, so I rather be alone," he added.

"Rabastan please, don't do this. You can trust me" she said reaching out to him "Its always been us Rabastan and Marvolo, Marvolo and Rabastan in the end of game it will be us it will always be us. I didn't betray you I swear it Rabs I didn't I stabbed that bastard I didn't snog him why can't you see that? I know i've changed I'm becoming a woman I'm not the child you grew up with I'm finally becoming myself"

"No, Marvolo, right now, I simply cannot trust you. And as you said, we know each other for a very long time, so you must alredy know, why I cannot trust you," he said. "And honestly, if becoming yourself means this, than I am not sure I can learn to trust you ever again," he added. "Because somewhere between your words and thoughts, you completely forgot, that I have feelings as well. And those feeling were for you. Only for you," said Rabastan, not letting her hear his pain.

Tears started to well up in her eyes "Rabastan.." she said her voice cracking "I didn't do anythign wrong"

"I cannot trust you, don't you understand?!" he looked at her, really angry now. "Last time we had a fight, really huge fight, you begged me to actually read your mind to prove me I can trust you. And you did it always when you wanted to prove me I am wrong, I can actually trust you. But you didn't ask me now. And something is telling me, that it's not, because now I can actually use it," he said darkly, his eyes on hers.

The tears came fast her heart was heavy with guilt how could she do this to him? to her Rabastan, "I'm sorry" she dropped his gaze in shame unable to look at him her shoulders shook with sobs as she stared at the ground "i'm so so sorry"

"Now tell me, how am I supposed to trust you? How can I?" he asked her, but anger from his voice disappeared. No matter how much hurt he was, he still couldn't stand her being hurt as well.

"I don't deserve you" she whispered her shame and humilation complete.

"That's up to your consideration," he said as he leaned against tree again. He didn't want to comfort her really, but he also couldn't leave her here alone. She maybe wasnt his girl anymore, but she was still his friend.

She got to her feet her arms wrapped around her waist she looked at him her head heavy her eyes looking like broken jewels, she looked like a doll someone had thrown in the dirt and shattered into a million pieces. Her heart was broken and she didn't know how to pick herself back up together again.

"I'm sorry..." she said trailing off she turned and ran from the spot he was in heading to the castle.

He wanted to stop her. At least part of him really did, but as he took fresh air into his lungs and opened his mounth to stop her, he lost his words. There was nothing to say. She didnt deserve him to stop her. She had to learn her lesson. Rabastan simply wasnt person for games.
