Example Role-play (100 words min.): Nikki sat in the stands feeling as lonely as ever. Now that Carly's gone, she has no one to talk, to laugh with, to confide in. She just wanted to have someone, anyone. She's lost everyone. She ticked each one off in her head, Carly….. that’s it? I have no friends whatsoever. Carly didn’t even tell me where she was going, a friend would. Maybe Carly didn’t think of me as a friend. She got lost in her thoughts of how she made her friends. Always head on. Maybe it’s my approach Nikki thought.

She practiced what she would say when she met someone, “Hi! I’m Nikki!” Or maybe, ”Hey I’m Nikki.” It could be, “Hey, I’m Nicole, but people call me Nikki.” Yeah that’s good! She thought. Then she facepalmed. She realized she was thinking like a 9 year old. Wow way to go Nikki.

Ever since Carly left Nikki realized she talked to herself, a lot. And that just flying on her broom really helps her feel better. That’s why Nikki came here in the first place. She mounted herself on her broom and began flying, the wind in her face, whistling through her ears. This was the only place Nikki truly felt happy. No fake smile.
