The Traitor Speaks (Pettigrew) (M)

The dark lord stood clothed in black robes on the hill top, looking over the lavender field. As the battle began he smiled to himself, Nagini coiled around his neck, her heavy form a comfort. They stood on the precipice of victory, "Wormtail is here my lord" one of his servants said "Good...everything is coming together"

Peter was already battered from the part of the battle he had partaken in, the upper part of his jumpsuit had been ripped apart, and he had only salvaged his wand, because the dirk he possessed was lost. He was brought to Voldemort in secret, and he trembled as he looked at the dark lord. He knelled as he saw him, and held back his tears. He was afraid, afraid of being killed.

Voldemort turned his dark eyes on the snivelling boy "Wormtail" he hissed, as nagini slid from her perch to taunt the boy "Do you have the potter's location? did you do as told?"

Peter gulped, and nodded. He had yet to tell Voldemort that he had always known where the Potters were. That Sirius was just the decoy. "Yes, I know where they are my Lord..." he spoke as he quivered.

His lips curved in a wicked smile as his pale hand gripped the boy his neck, picking him up he said "then tell me wormtail where are your little potters hiding? remember boy, if you speak true then you will live"

Peter shook, as tears fell down his eyes. He had an urge to turn into Wormtail and to disappear, but he couldn't. He was in too deep. Why was he dragged into that mess...why did he meet James, Remus and Sirius... "The potters are hiding in Godric's Hollow...right under your well shaped nose my Lord...in they're own cottage..." he whispered.

Voldemort threw the rat to the ground "Very good my boy" he snarled "now return to the battle, you will be injured so that you may no longer oppose me" with his words spoken the dark lord apparated to Godric's hallow.
