This is not Acceptable (Jericho)

A white conjunction of winds stormed the skies, in a round form. It clearly wanted to go somewhere, and it was close. The rain was hard, as the round windy form landed. The wind dissipated into nothingness, leaving a body of a well formed man behind. Alastor Moody. It was late. Very late. About Two in the morning. Yet, Alastor wasn't gonna wait around. He knocked on the door of the supposed house of his protege with actual anger in his eyes. Bartemius had already told him about what had happened. And of course, Moody was furious. But he didn't care. Jericho was in the case even if he was suspended. Personal cases never affected Moody that much, but Jericho was a different person. So Alastor was gonna help. No matter what. "Open up dammit..." He said, both frustrated and annoyed.

Jericho awoke to pounding on his door. Looking at his clock, it read two in the morning. "Who in Merlin's name...." he murmured as he got up and threw on a pair of SLEEP PANTS and white tee. Making his way downstairs, he heard the loud pounding sound again along with the unmistakable roar of his boss, Moody. He skipped the last four or so steps and quickly unlocked the door. "Moody? What the devil?" he asked moving aside to allow him, soaking wet, entrance to his home.

Alastor entered the house, shaking his head, as the water slid down his raincoat and fell onto the floor. He took out his raincoat, as his over shirt was completely dry. His trousers, however, weren't as lucky. "We've got to talk!" He said, in his usual loud tone. His rage was still visible. Perhaps it would be better if they talked somewhere else. But Alastor truly didn't give a rats ass. He was gonna talk there and then.

Jericho shut the door and locked it, allowing the enchantments he kept over the door to again activate. Taking Moody's raincoat, he hung it up. "I'm glad you're back, and yes..... We do need to talk," he said firmly, as he made his way to the kitchen, motioning for Moody to follow. He yawned once as he readied the kettle for something hot to drink. Tea, coffee, anything.... It didn't matter this early...

Moody nodded, breathing heavily. He had to calm down. This was Jericho. He was able to speak normally when he was around the other man. He entered the kitchen, sighing. "Coffee for me." He said. He had been awake for the past five weeks straight. How? Moody was resistant. Plus, all those potions helped.

Jericho prepared coffee for Moody and himself. Handing the cup to his boss, he took a seat at one of the bar-stools next to the island. He looked into his cup and then at his boss, blue eyes ready for whatever reaming Moody had in store for him.

Moody took a seat next to Jericho, taking a long sip from his cup. He sighed, looking around. "Well then," he started. "You were suspended. First, I don't need you to tell me what happened. Bartemius has told me what went on. Now, what did you feel like? I mean, why in the hell did you let it get to that point?" he asked. He wasn't disappointed. He simply wasn't proud either.

Jericho sipped his cup as he listened to Moody ask what happened. He said he didn't need to tell what happened, but without telling, Moody wouldn't know what actually caused him to lose his temper. He set his cup down and thought about how to begin. Tapping his fingers on the island's top, he said, "She knows. The Minister, knows." Jericho leveled his blue eyes with Moody. "I simply went to see if she had any updates on the case, and Moody, she knows more than she's telling us," he said evenly. He knew he was risking his job by talking to him, but it was worth it.

Moody narrowed his eyes, before abruptly getting up. He picked up the bar stool, letting the cup fall to the floor and hurled it out of his sight. "FUCK!" He said, hitting one of the counters with his fists. With one hand, he nearly ripped his hair apart, with his rage growing even more. "God damn that bitch..." He continued, kicking the counter. He wasn't even thinking anymore. He trusted Jericho. As much as he trusted Anora. If he said something, he was right!

Jericho watched as Moody raged in his kitchen. If things broke, he wasn't overly concerned. Magic would fix things... "I don't know what exactly she knows, but she knows a hell of a lot more than she is telling us...." Jericho said over the commotion Moody was making. "I think.... She might know who is behind all this," he added.

Alastor swung another bench, crashing with the wall. He put his hands on his hips breathing heavily, huffing like an enraged dog. "I know someone that's gonna tell me what she knows. But whatever...get ready, we're going to the Malfoy Manor right now..." he said, sighing and simply trying to forget it for the moment.

Jericho placed his cup in the sink to be washed later and headed towards the stairs to dress. When he reached the doorway, he paused, placing a hand on the frame and spoke over his shoulder to his boss. "I can't be sure sure, but she knows which Malfoy is responsible. I heard her almost slip up over it," he said calmly, walking out of the room. When he reached the stairs, he waved his wand and the rooms righted themselves again after Moody's tantrum of sorts. Jericho then ascended the stairs to dress quickly for a trip to is possible assailant's home. Truth be told, he was listening for Moody to continue ransacking the kitchen after he cleaned it up or for his to speak out his thoughts as Aurors often did when puzzled.

Alastor breathed heavily, blowing the air. He rubbed his temples, laying his elbows on one of the counters. The Minister was now keeping something important from Aurors. How did she dare do such things? Alastor was gonna make a certain bodyguard talk to her, because he simply was not in the mood. At all. He preferred to remain quiet, and wait for Jericho to return. His words would be too harsh even for the wind to hear.

Jericho dressed quickly, throwing on jeans, white tee, and black boots. He put his hand where his badge normally lay on his dresser to hook onto his belt, but it wasn't there. "Damn...." he said with a sigh. He was going to get it back. He vowed that to himself. Looking in the mirror, Jericho ran his fingers through his slightly messy hair, fixing it to a point. The last thing he grabbed as he went out the door was his watch. Putting it on he descended the stairs and returned to the kitchen, pleased to see that it was still righted. "You sure this is wise so early?" he said knowing full well that the Moody didn't give a shit what time it was. "Supposed you also know that my going with you, hell talking to you, can cost me my job, right?" he said with a half grin.

Moody took a look at Jericho, before quickly walking past him. "Young, tell me truthfully," he said, looking back above his shoulder. "...does it look like I give a shit? Your job is safe while I got my paws around you. Now let's go, before your kitchen gets further damage." he responded, picking up his raincoat and putting it back on. Some water still shook of it, but Alastor didn't care. He was in the mood to throw someone out of a window now. Paying a visit to the Malfoy manor would be extremely pleasing.

Jericho laughed lightly at Moody, predicted reaction. Grabbing his black leather jacked off the hook in the hall, slipped it on, and opened the door. He allowed Moody to go first and then followed, closed the door behind him and stood next to him. "Whenever you're ready, Sir," Jericho said taking out his wand.

As Alastor stepped outside, he growled. He was extremely pissed now. The Malfoys were gonna face his wrath. As he heard Jericho speak, "Hmph..." he shrugged, and suddenly turned into a white smoke, disappearing from anyone's sight. Jericho could still catch his apparation trail. They would appear at least some feet before the Malfoy's manor main gate.

Jericho smirked as Moody, in true Moody style, said nothing and just vanished with a pop. He knew that as his right-hand man, Jericho would be able to follow his trial without direction. In a plume of white smoke of his own, Jericho vanished from sight. He followed Moody's trail easily enough and reappared next to him outside the Malfoy Mannor main gate.

Jericho's jaw set as he took a calming breath. This wasn't the time to let his anger get the better of him. Sure he wanted the responsible Malfoy's heart on a plate, but in time.... Now, he needed to be the Auror he was trained to be. Looking to Moody, his blue eyes smiled like before Joelle passed when he was on a case. "You gonna knock, or shall I?" he joked with a smirk. Maybe this small break was actually going to prove benificial. He actually felt like the old Young again....

Looking at the huge gate, Alastor shook his head. "Knock?" He asked taking his wand out of its holster by his thigh. "What the hell is knocking?" He moved his wand, and the gate was forced to open for them. Alastor stepped in the mansion's terrain, looking back. If the culprit was there, they'd have to arrest him. Fast. So he wasn't gonna wait around. He motioned for Jericho to follow him and he jogged to the main door.

True Moody style, just as Jericho planned it to be. He grinned drawing his wand. Stepping through the gate, he kept pace with Moody all the way to the main door. He wasn't sure if the one they were seeking was there or not, but perhaps they would find some kind of clue that would help them in their quest to put this case to rest.

As they reached the main door, Alastor clenched his jaw and blew the door open. He stepped into the house, as a house elf greeted him kneeling. "Get up dobby, where are your masters?" He asked fiercely. Dobby stepped on Alastor, touching Jericho with one of his fingers. He snapped his fingers in his free hand, and took the men to the back of the house. Lucius laid in front of a grave weeping. Alastor approached with his wand, pushing him aside slightly. Lucius's eyes widened. "Moody?" He asked as Alastor took a look at the grave. "Abraxas Malfoy. Your father died?" Alastor asked suspicious. Lucius nodded sadly, as his grandmother set a hand on his shoulder. "Dragon Pox..." Lucile Malfoy answered. Alastor shot a look at Jericho instantly. It's Philip....

Jericho followed Moody into the Malfoy mansion and gave a curt nod to Dobby. As far as House Elves go, Dobby was one that Jericho didn't totally dislike. He was a pleasant fellow. As Dobby took them to the back of the house, Jericho look in the scene before him. A Malfoy had recently passed, that was clear enough. But which one?

Jericho listened as Moody spoke with Lucius. Abraxas Malfoy. Your father died? Looking at the ground thinking, Jericho's brow furrowed. One of the Malfoy twins was dead. That left..... He raised his blue eyes, cold and hard as ice to Moody as realization hit them both. Philip.......

Alastor narrowed his eyes, and shot a look at Lucile. "My apologies for disrupting your night m'am. We'll go on our way..." He said, looking at Jericho. "Go home, clear your head, sleep. We'll talk in the morning." Alastor nearly ordered, apparating before even bothering to hear the auror's answer.

Jericho gritted his teeth before calming himself to speak to Lucile. "Ma'am," was all he said with a respectful tip of his head before apparating back to his front door.

He opened it with enough force to slam it into the wall behind it. Storming through, he waved his wand, effectively slamming and locking it. He turned when he reached the table that normally held things like keys and his wand when he was home alone, and slammed his hands down on its top. Jericho leaned heavily on his flat hands as he thought about the turn this case just took. Raising his eyes to the picture of Joelle that rested on the table, he picked it up and touched the glass protecting the picture as if touching her face. The picture smiled up at him as she tossed her long red hair over her shoulder like she always used to do. With a sigh, he took the picture upstairs with him to try and sleep as Moody had instructed him to....
