Since I am waiting.

Dragon sat in the living rom on a chair with his back to the wall  and he was facing the door. He had his hand on the hilt of his bowie knife which was attached to his Belt and a Spell book in his spare hand. He may have looked relaxed but he was silent so he could hear anyone comming. He was waiting for Thane whom was upstairs.

Jocelyn walked down the stairs in search for her older brother Hades, she walked into the living room and stopped dead in her tracks. Jocelyn wanted to walk away but it was her house too so she kept standing looked at the strange person sitting in the chair. Jocelyn looked around the room thinking about if she should ask him who he was and what he was doing in the house. Jocelyn didn't know him but it could easily be a friend of Thane or Hades. Jocelyn decided that she should be the one to talk.

"Umm.....hi.....Are you waiting for someone? Shall i yell up that you are waiting?" Jocelyn asked him, feeling a little bit nervous. "I'm Jocelyn but you probably don't really care....." She said trailing off. She didn't know exactly what to do.

Dragon heard her comming. As he spoke he Placed his book down and lifted a mug of tea. "Hello Jocelyn Mia Grimm. I am Dragon Reaver Immorta The Second. A Blood brother of Thane, he gave me his blood so I could live. I have a room here, but that is not why I am here. I was asked to return by Thane to help keep an eye on things. How are you?" He took a sip of his tea. And smiled at her.

Jocelyn frowned. He knew her full name and he lives here, she hadn't seen that one coming. "Dragon....very nice name sir." Jocelyn stated smiling weakly at him. "What do you mean with keep an eye on things, i mean this is our house, we are safe here right?" Jocelyn was confused, were they in danger?

Jocelyn walked to the couch and sat down, she ignored his question on how she was because it wasn't really important to her to answer that question. "So you live here too?" She asked him to break the awkward silence, she played with her necklace as she watched him and noticed he had a knife that was attached to his belt, she looked up at him. "I.....I was just looking for my brother Hades.....so i guess.....nice meeting you....." Jocelyn pulled up but sat back down because she got light in the head, she waited for it to fade.

Dragon smiled. "Sorry the knifes a habit and no. You see. I am the Alpha male I guess you would say and I have been asked to just keep an eye on things as Thane feels he needs help, you are not in danger. Have no fear. Jocelyn. Please, we are family practicly. Don't fear me or call me sir. I am sorry about the knife. I live a life on the run. Its a hunting knife. Nothing more. Please stay. I intend to get to know all of the Grimms." He smiled warmly at her. He sensed her discomfort and wanted her to be comfortable around him.

Jocelyn opened her eyes and chuckled. "I have no fear anymore, too much happened. If I die today it probably had to be that way." Jocelyn widened her eyes what she just rambled against Dragon. "Ohh sorry I just ramble things. Did you see a man with tattoos all over his face. I need to give him my wand to put it away in the war room, I'm not allowed to use magic outside of school." That was not the real reason why she promised Hades to give her wand, it felt safer as she promised Hades and Thane not to hurt herself, not that she could do that without her dagger. She wasn't allowed in the war room either. Jocelyn looked at Dragon again. "Thane has awful lot of work to come downstairs, maybe he fell asleep or warning my other brothers to clean their mess in the bathroom or he is already in the war room. If he is in the war room I can't take you there it has a protection, I can't get through because...." Jocelyn stopped talking, was she really going to tell him he has to live with a suicidal girl on his first day? "Because it is not for girls I guess and I'm the only girl here." Jocelyn shrugged.

Dragon smiled at her. "Jocelyn. I think you have more potential than you let people know. You are wise to hide your power if you do. But unwise to practice it..." he trailed of then paused. then spoke again. "You look so much like your mother. Did anyone tell you that? I knew her...Then I vanished. Then she died..." he looked at his tea to which he took another sip. "I think I know what he is doing. Well, more specifcly, who he is doing. He was with Miss Thorpe. I will give him time. Since I am waiting. Why don't you tell me the real reason Hades is taking your wand."

Jocelyn looked at him. What was he talking about, did he really want to know about the whole cutting herself? Did he think that she was practicing dark magic? That was stupid she never practiced the magic she knew. Jocelyn looked away as he spoke over her mother, she wished she could just speak with her for once. Jocelyn spoke to him. "If you mean about my magic I learned when I was little I never practiced it in my life, and Hades doesn't know about it. I can't have my wand because I harmed myself but I promised them that i wouldn't do that anymore." Dragon was probably smarter than she thought.

Dragon smiled. "You are a strong girl Jocelyn, and maybe I did. Maybe I didn't point is you know great power. I suggest you master it, because people will come for it. Master it and use it to defend yourself Jocelyn. You are strong." He tilted his head a bit and continued "You harmed yourself? Is it to do with your Brothers unfortunate death's? Or has something happened?"

Jocelyn sighed. "It is not just regular spells that i learned about and don't want to become one of the gaunt sisters. dark magic is not to play with and if it is there are big consequences. I....uhh yes it plays partly with the sudden dead of my brothers but also things that have happened. I just couldn't take it anymore. Someone found me and brought me to the hospital." Jocelyn was a bit confused why he was so interested, did Thane told anyone. Jocelyn breathed faster. What if he did tell others. Jocelyn pulled herself up and walked around hyperventilating but then turned to Dragon and glared at him. "I don't know what your pulling here but I don't like it when you talk to me about the things I know but what I can't and will do."

Dragon chuckled. "Let me guess only a few people know. Jocelyn. I am a wise person. I can read it. Nobody told me anything. I was only making a susgestion. I know Dark magic isn't a thing to play with but it's a good deterence." He ogt up and crouched in front if her. "Jocelyn. You won't be a Gaunt, or like them, why? Because you are strong. Till the next time. I believe Thane is done."

Thane came through he door. "Got it."

Dragon smiled at him and left with him. He stopped before leaving. "Good bye Jocelyn. Think about what I have said. Untill the next time." Then he was gone.

How can he say she was strong if i just tried to kill myself, harm myself that badly. Jocelyn thought looking up at him and then at her wand who was tucked in her jeans pocket. Jocelyn sighed, maybe he was right and could she have used it earlier, to keep the people away from her like Sirius in that matter but she didn't want to be dark, her whole life she was learned to be at the dark side but the only thing she wanted was a nice life. Maybe she should use it for the normal life she wanted so badly. As Thane and Dragon walked away, Jocelyn plopped down on the couch and rubbed her face. It was so confusing.
