The restricted section (open)

Jocelyn walked into the library and stopped at the restricted section. She looked around the library and then entered the forbidden part of the library. It was a long time since she was here to study more dark arts books but today she felt the urge to read them. She passed a row with books and she grabbed one and sat down, she opened the first chapter and started to read. It was all very interesting but she had to be careful for the other students who might hear her. Jocelyn only read books with no sounds and as an experienced Dark Arts reader she knew which one that were and which one not. She felt comfortable with the books here because she knew a lot about it, she could sit here for hours and not feel uncomfortable about what she might read.

Morana was calmly sitting in the restricted section of the library where she was like at home. It was quite easy to sneak in here since she had her raven form and window was open most of the time. But lately, she hasn't been there so much. Until today. After recent events with her sister being back, Morana's curiosity about hell grew up a lot. She had to be carefull about the books she was picking, but she still found something to read about the topic. She was right in the torture part, when someone else entered. Morana, this time in black clothes, hid in the shadow of one of the bookshelves and watched Mila as she entered and started to read one of the books about dark arts.

As Jocelyn was reading she could feel someone looking at her but first she didn't pay much attention to it but then it got quite annoying. Jocelyn stopped with reading and looked around the section, she saw someone sitting in dark clothes and her heart began to beath fast. As Jocelyn looked better she saw it was a girl, heck it was Morana Gaunt. Jocelyn blinked a couple of times and grabbed her book she was reading and walked up to her.

"Miss Gaunt? Is that you?" Jocelyn whispered while she came closer, she didn't expect anyone here but Jocelyn was dead wrong.

Morana smirked as her eyes glittered in dark. "Yeah, it's me. Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," she said kindly with smile as she walked out of the shadow and pulled the book she borrowed back into the shelf. "So what brings sweet girl like you to the restricted section?" she asked curiously, smile didn't leave her face.

Jocelyn shook her head and smiled back at her. "It's okay i thought i was alone here but i guess i was wrong. I'm not that kind of sweet girl everyone sees and i like books since i was a little girl and especially dark arts books since we only had them at my adoptive parents' house." Jocelyn shrugged at Morana. "I'm sorry about your sister, i never knew her very well personally but my brothers did and they are really sad about it." Jocelyn looked away for a couple of seconds and then back to Morana.

"Well who from Slytherin looks sweet and is actually sweet, right?" Morana smirked. "As for my sister, it is fine. You didn't hear the news? She is back," Morana smiled happily. She had her twin sister back, she felt complete again. Even if Marvolo wasn't the same anymore.

Jocelyn smirked and widened her eyes when she heard the news about the other miss Gaunt. "Ohh my gosh, i'm so happy for you but how? Do my brothers know about that?" she asked curiously.

"My godmother and Dellen Lestrange know some warlock. He pulled her out of hell. She looks different now, but she is still Marvolo," Morana explained what happened and remembered how her sister looked now. That was something that terrified Morana. Hell. She would rather never know what was going to happen after her death, because even if she knew this will come and accepted it, it hauted her in her sleep. "And I don't know if they know. She likes huge entrance, you know?" she added with smile.

Jocelyn was shocked that they could do that, she shivered a little bit of the thought that miss Gaunt looked differently and thought about her older brother Hades, he looked very different. "Wow but okay so she will come back to school and be with you and her friends right?" Jocelyn asked Morana.

"Yes, she will. But don't worry, she is not a monster. Sure, hell left signs on her, but she is still Marvolo," Morana explained with smile. She knew Jocelyn was different. She was kind and nice girl who cared for her family deeply and that was something Morana could easily relate to. She also knew Jocelyn was quiet and most likely a bit shy but according to her school results, she was also really talented and smart young witch, so partly it didn't really surprise her that she found her in restricted section, reading about dark arts.

Jocelyn smiled back at Morana. "My brothers will like that and i'm happy for you that you have your sister back. Can i sit here and read, i will not disturb you don't worry. I haven't been able to read this book since i was nine." Jocelyn thought back at the first time she grabbed this book she was 6 when she read in the dark small library. Jocelyn looked at Morana. "I know you and your sister know a lot of the Dark Arts, my adoptive father told me many stories about you and your family. Silly of him but he said he wanted me to take you or your sister as a example for my future, i was crazy enough to believe him but know i see that you aren't that bad at all but i'm my own person, i can't take you or your sister as an example because no one can be like you two are. Sure i would like to have some more rudeness in me and tell my brothers to fuck off sometimes but it'll come. I would love to kill Sirius Black one day after what he had done to me and my brothers, but time will come that he realizes that he was the one who was bad after all and he needs to do one hell of a apologize to get forgiven by me." Jocelyn realized sha was keeping rambling and smirked. "Sorry i told you that i was not going to disturb you and here i am talking about things. I'm sorry miss Gaunt." Jocelyn turned back to the book she was reading and left Morana alone.

"It's not in human nature to be born with all character abilities Jocelyn. It's all about life and what it brings to you. Me and my sister, all we have, we gained it by manipulation, control and coldness, because if we didn't, we wouldn't survive. No one can judge you unless he walked in your shoes. And no one cannot force you be someone else either," she said only, with kind. She knew Jocelyn never really saw her as a friend. "And my name is Morana. Use it please," She added.

Jocelyn looked at Morana when she started to talk and listened to every word she said closely and nodded. She was right, they can't judge me only when they walked in my shoes, she would remind herself that. "You're right and i will remind myself about that, it can be of good use someday." As Morana said she needed to use her real name and not her last name, Jocelyn tensed up a little bit. "I'm sorry i have been taught that i could only speak your last name, Miss... Sorry Morana." Jocelyn smiled weakly and turned back to her book.

"I am still just a normal person, you know?" she smiled. "Strange, weird, sometimes cruel and sometimes complete bitch, but still just a person," she added and pulled one book out of shelf. It was carefully hidden there, so those who didn't know where to look, couldn't see it. She handed book to Jocelyn. "Try this one. It's older dark magic, nasty stuff. But you seem to be interrested in it," she said.

Jocelyn chuckled at her comment. "Not too my adoptive family, they think you and your sister are legends and they believe you will rise up and taking over maybe even defeat You Know Who." Jocelyn grabbed the book from Morana and stroked over the cover of the book. She looked at Morana. "You do not seem to be very interested in me and why i have an interest in the books full of Dark Arts and Dark Magic?" Jocelyn was suprised Morana gave her a book about the Dark Arts. Jocelyn opened the book and begun to read.
