The Yule Ball 1977

Luna spent the last two hours trying to get ready for the Yule Ball, she wanted to be perfect for Kronos but compared to him and everybody else, she could never reach their looks. In her mind, she was dull and not perfect what so ever. She slipped into her dress and curled her hair. She put black eyeliner on and black eyeshadow, making her electric blue eyes stand out. She breathes deeply as she looks in the mirror. Even with the blue dress, she still felt dull. Her stomach was going crazy due to her nerves so she closes her eyes until she hears the door click open. She turns to see her twin sister Aurora. She smiles at her sister's beauty and felt odd. Her sister was beautiful yet...she wasn't. They were twins but she still thought her sister was beautiful. She shook away her thoughts and walked across the room, taking her sisters arm. ''Your DRESS is beautiful and as are you, my dawn.'' She smiles at her.

Aurora walks to the room with Alex Mortem who had an arm around her waist. His SUIT went well with Aurora's pink dress. She smiled and kisses Alex's cheek, entering the room whilst he stood outside. She gasps at Luna and links arms with her, giggling at her words. ''You look beautiful yourself...but you won't believe me will you?'' Luna shook her head and they step outside. Luna smiled at Alex and hugged him tight, kissing his cheek. ''It's been a long time future brother.'' She winks causing Aurora to blush and look away. They started to walk together to the Hall for the Ball, they saw Skyla and Astra on the way.

Astra walks towards the younger twins with a smirk on her face, wearing a short tight black DRESS. She smiles at Alex and Aurora and kisses Alex's cheeks and then Aurora's. ''Hurt my little sister, you know what i will do, Alex Mortem.'' She says with her grey eyes boring into his. He gulps and pull Aurora closer to him with a smile. Astra looks around for Regulus and splits off from the girls and Alex, starting to go find him in the Hall or around it.

Skyla looks at Astra strut off and she shakes her head looking at the girls and gasping. She walks over and hugs them tightly. ''You two...look so grown up and so much like the pictures of mother.'' She breathes out and pulls away from the hug to see their teary eyes. She mentally cursed herself remembering they never knew mother. ''You look beautiful girls, that's what i'm trying to say.'' She smiles at them and looks down at her dark purple DRESS and smiles because she picked it for Legion remembering he said it was his favorite colour. ''What do you think?'' She says looking into their blue eyes that had a slight difference. Luna had grey flakes and Aurora had Amber. She grinned as they said stunning and she dragged the trio to the Hall, leaving Luna outside after a kiss on the cheek and a see you later.

Damien stepped into the great hall and observed the decorations with a blank face. It wasn't as horrid as he had expected, but he was sure Wolfclaw would have done better. He took Ferox' hand and let him to one of the tables where they sat down. "I hope this place won't get too crowded...I hate being crowded." he said with a frown. Damien had no intention of spending more time here than absolutely neccessary and would make Ferox leave as soon as possible. He wouldn't be here to begin with had his boyfriend not asked it of him. With a sigh he leaned back against Ferox' chest and waited for the disaster to begin.

Ferox sneered at a few Hogwarts students as he and Damien made their way to the great hall where the ball was soon to start. He knew that his boyfriend hated such huge gatherings, but Ferox loved to dance and wouldn't miss this chance. "Don't worry, love. I make sure, they stay away from you, alright?" he bend down and gave Damien a quick kiss on the cheek, then followed him to the table. "I'm sure it won't be that bad, I'll try my best to amuse you." he said chuckling.

Evan walked into the great hall and looked around for his date. The young Hufflepuff wasn't to be seen yet, so he decided to wait with his brother and his boyfriend for now. "Hey Ferox, why is princess making such a face?" he asked smirking. Damien was always had this "everything-bothers-me-and-especially-you" expression that managed to amuse him greatly.

Damien didn't even deign to acknowledge the presence of the other boy, Evan always tried to tease him and normally he wouldn't care, but today he was ways to tense to reply in kind. The thought of being surrounded by hundred of people in this hall with loud music and chatter made him want to run screaming from the room. Only Ferox' presence made him feel save enough to bear it, for the time being.

Jocelyn was wearing her her pink dress her adoptive mother send with all her stuff, she had no date to the ball but she didnt care, her sollen eyes were for everyone visible, she had been crying, screaming and kicking after Sirius killed her brother, who she just started to like. She sat down at one of the tables, sipping her drink looking at the other students coming in.

Kol was impatiently waiting for Luna to come into the great hall, he was wearing a suit, pitchblack with a white blouse. He found it amusing to see that some of the Hogwarts students looked good but in normal schoolwear they did look pretty awful. He saw Evan Rosier and walked up to him. "Also waiting for the girl, Rosier?" He asked him.

Selena brushed her red dress smooth over her sides and stepped through the portrait guarding the Gryffindor coomon room. She was so nervous to be going on her first date and it was also the first time she would be allowed to go to the yule ball.
Excited, she walked a bit faster, careful not to stumble on her red high heels. That would be the most embarrassing thing possible today, she thought with a chuckle. Finally she reached the great hall and found Severus waiting for her by the entrance. "Hi Severus..." she said softly and smiled at him. His dress robe was really nice and made him look quite noble. "You look good."

Severus was standing outside of the great hall, waiting for his date to arrive. He still couldn't believe that Selena had agreed to come with him and felt a smile tug at his lips. He had managed to get a festive robe in time and hoped that she would like the dark green cloth, Slytherin gree, of course. Severus turned when he heard Selena's voice and his yaw dropped slightly when he took in her beauty. She was wearing a red dress that reached down only to her knees and bright red shoes. Now she was almost his hight and he stepped closer to her. "You look stunning, Selena." he told her, barely believing his luck, and held out his arm to lead her into the hall.

Evan only smirked at Damien and sat down beside him and Ferox. "I'm sure you'll have fun, Ien." he said smiling. He knew about the boys problems with crowded placed.
He let his gaze travel across the great hall, looking for Kiara when one of his classmates approached them. "Kol you got a date?" he asked smirking. "Yes, she should be here soon, probably getting ready, you know how girls are." Evan shrugged.

Selena smiled at Severus' compliment and blushed slightly. "Thank you." she said softly and let him lead her inside. Not many students had arrived, yet. Mostly Wolfclaw students were as always talking amongst themselves, so they headed to another table and got something to drink. Selena hoped that there would be good music and that everyone would enjoy the ball, with everything that was going on lately, they all could need it.

Kol looked at Evan and smirked. "Yeah one of a triplet, my house. Miss Luna Hale." He stated proudly. He chuckled at his comments about girls.

"On who are you waiting?" He asked curiously. Kol looked around the room, no sign of the Hale triplet yet and he looked back at Evan.

Kiara finally entered the great hall in her little black dress, it was nothing over the top, she couldn't stand frilly dresses that made her look like a fairy princess, which was the last thing she wanted to look like for Evan. Black was simple and it looked good. She looked around for the boy in question and soon found him talking with another that looked just like him with another boy. He was a twin? he never mentioned that.. Regardless she smiled and walked over to them. "Evan? Didn't keep you waiting to long Hm?" she questioned with a smirk on her face. She glanced at his companions with curiosity, "How do you do?" she asked with a bow of her head and a smile.

Frank Longbottom poked into the entrance of the Great Hall waiting for Alice to arrive, he nervously adjusted his dress Robes to make sure he looked alright. He kept his eye fixed on the arriving guests, hoping Alice would one of them. He fiddled with a Rose for her, 'Hope she likes Roses...' he thought to himself, looking a the flower he had picked out to give to her as a token.

Sirius waited outside the Hall, rather impatient. Surely Marvolo would look stunning, as always. He fixed his JACKET, making sure his tie wasn't off. Passing his hand by his hair, he noticed the other couples arrive. None would look as astonishing as him and his love. He could feel that. He was also rather surprised Cian had yet to arrive. He seemed to always be on time.

Regulus put on his watch, as he fixed his hair, smirking. People around him knew Astra was with him, but he wondered how others would suddenly take the news that little old Regulus Black was dating such beautiful girl. As he spotted Astra looking for him, he came up to her silently, placing his hand on her back, slithering down slowly. "Hey beautiful. You look
glamorous." He said, adjusting his COAT with his other hand.

Morderus slid his ring into his middle finger, buttoning up his jacket. His SUIT was complete. His suit shone through out the hall, as he walked around, with his necklace hidden. He awaited his love with patience, and a smile.

James fixed his bow tie, passing by Sirius giving him a small glare. It wasn't time to fight, so he simply relaxed, and waited for his beauty to appear. Surely he'd be able to withstand her beauty. He wondered how many would look in awe at Lily. The two of them together, surely they'd be one of the best pairs. Why? Because James Potter and Lily Evans were together. That was all it toke.

Lucius swung his cane, not letting it hit the floor. He nodded at Sirius, and then stiffed a laugh upon seeing Regulus meet his girlfriend. He wondered when Narcissa was going to arrive. Of course he was a patient boy, so if Narcissa was getting herself set up, he'd wait. He'd always wait for her. He also wondered what'd she think of his little OUTFIT.

Philip swung his ring around in his finger, with his hand settling his bow tie correctly. These kids were gonna have fun in their little dances. Fools. Philip was playing in the big leagues. The biggest league in the building. He knew Amelia wouldn't disappoint. At all. He himself had nice VESTMENTS, but Amelia would be completely astonishing. Philip would instantly be in awe once he saw her. He couldn't wait.

Morgan stepped into her black shoes as she finished looking over herself one last time in the mirror before heading down the stairs of Ravenclaw Tower. She recieved many looks as she wore a DRESS that was not the color that many had grown to see her wear when she would dress up. Around her neck was a silver chain, complete with a deep green, tear-drop emerald, and in her ears, earing to match. She even picked up a set of green and black bangle bracelets just for the Ball. She was hoping that Rabastan would be pleased with what he saw that night. Morgan took special care to dress to empress tonight. As she reached the Great Hall, she wait outside for her Prince to arrive.

Cian leaned against the banister at he bottom of the Ravenclaw Tower stair, spinning his RING on his pinkie finger. He told Azaria that he would wait for her here, and here he waited. He was excited to see the dress that his date was wearing as she told him nothing about what it looked like. He wondered if it would be something to represent her house in a lovely shade of blue. Blue would look good on her... As he thought about what Azaria woudl look like, Morgan walked by him in a stunning green. His brown eyes followed her as she walked, gracfully past. Although blue seemed more her color, he wasn't going to lie that green looked good on her, too. After she had passed, he went back to thinking about his date. As he waited, Cian began to hum to tune he had played for her when he asked her to the Ball.

Emery finished preparing for a wonderful night with her sould mate by clipping her HAIR CLIP in place, holding her hair in a bun-like pony. She hoped Morderus would be impressed with her choice of purple tonight. As she made her way to the festivities, she smiled at the thought of what he might look like. Handsome of course, but will he be in the usual black that most everyone else was in or something different. As she entered the Hall, she began to look for him, however, not knowing what he was wearing made the task slightly more challenging. As she looked, she spotted him in white, with his back to her. Emery's heart skipped a beat as she made her way over to him from behind. When she reached him, she smiled brghtly and gently placed a hand on his shoulder. "Found you," she said quietly.

Ted fastened his left CUFF LINK and readjusted his sleeve to allow his watch to slip under the cuff of his shirt. He took one last look in the mirror before picking up the yellow rose her had for his date and heading out. Dromeda didn't tell him what she was wearing, but he was sure he would find her. After all, she was a little hard to miss. Ted had opted to not wear a jacket as it was likely that he wouldn't keep it on for long. Dances like these tend to be warm, in more ways than one. So, no jacket this time. He entered the Hall and greeted several of his friends as he waited for Dromeda.

Azaria looked in the mirror one last time before going down to meet Cian. She felt amazing, and everything was perfect. She was especially proud of her HAIR, which took her almost an hour to do. She brushed her blue dress off, and headed down the steps and outside to meet her date. There he was, exactly where they had planned to meet. His suit looked great on him. She walked up to him nervously, wondering what he thought of her dress. She smiled at him sweetly. "You look great," she said.

Morana entered the Ball, her dress, heels and nails in the same green color as her engagement ring she was so proud of. She wore necklace in shape of two snakes Barty gave her and tiara with another snake at it as she bought it to her dress. Perfect Slytherin princess, just like Marvolo said. She looked around if Barty, Morgan and Marvolo alredy arrived, but she didn't see them, so she decided to stick with Rabastan for the time being. She observed other students with cold and arrogant look, judging them and their clothes in her head.

Rabastan escorted Morana to the Ball, because he promised Barty she won't be alone not even for a second before he arrives from his appointment with his father. Rabastan had to smirk when he thought about that jealous bastard. He was keeping Morana around all the time and if he couldn't, he asked Rabastan to guide her, since he was the only one Barty trusted. But Barty's perfect princess had to enter the hall alone, since Rabastan saw Morgan waiting for him. "Well, you look beautiful!" he said as he kissed her. "My perfect pureblood lady," he whispered into her ear as he offered her his arm.

Lily was quite nervous when she entered the Ball. Her dress was quite simple since she couldn't really afford something too fancy and she felt like something less when she saw other girls and their dresses. Specialy when it came to Wolfclaw girls and girls from Slytherin. Since most of them were coming from rich and pureblood families, they were dressed as princesses. Lily saw James and hurried to him quickly. "Hey," she said shyly and gently kissed him.

Luna chose simple purple dress for this event, but she made sure it was the only piece ever made, so she was original. Her hair were simple as well, but she felt good that way. After all, she knew her place in society and she would consider it to be rude if her clothes put into shadow ladies from Black or Gaunt family. She quietly walked to Kol. "Hello my dear," she greeted him with astonishing smile.

Amelia wanted to look perfect today. She picked the dress she wore so many times before, yet it never got old. It was dress from her mother, Celeste, and she was quite proud she managed to keep this piece of her wardrobe in perfect condition for all those centuries. This dress she wore for traditional Christmas ball at Wolfclaw when she was in her last year. As a head girl from Araneae, it was of course purple and black. She was chosen to be queen of the prom back than. It was very old memories and she could barely remember, ball was canceled after five centuries since students started to leaving home for christmas, but this dress always brought them back. She approached Philip with that seductive smile of hers. "Mister Malfoy, I must admit, I picked the best option for my date," she said as she looked at him.

Even Bella was in slytherin green when she entered the Ball. She took her place with other members of her house and quietly watched what was going to happen.

Satsuki didn't have a date for this event, so she felt slightly annoyed when she was about to go there. She put on red kimono her mother sent her as appropriate for entering such an event. She didn't really care. Her hair changed colour into black and so did her eyes, since she felt like that will look the best with her dress. When she entered, most of the students were older than her since the younger ones probably wasn't there yet. She found herself a place in the corner where she quietly, with glass in her hands, waited for what was about to happen.

Morgan smiled brightly, her dark eyes sparkling as Rabastan spotted her and came over to her. "I picked green, just for you," she cooed before she returned his kiss gently, and whispered back, "A perfect Pureblood Lady for a perfect Pureblood Prince." She smiled as she slipped her arm into the crook of his and took a moment to look him over. They made a great pair, he observed. "You look very handsome tonight, Rabastan," she complimented him sweetly.

You look great. Cian turned and spotted Azaira coming down the stairs. His crooked smile spread across his face as he saw that this thoughts were correct. She was stunning in a lovely blue dress. He was glad he had gone with something simple, like black and white. "Thank you, Azaira. But, I must say, you look beautiful," he said holding out his hand to her as she reached the bottom of the stairs. "Here, for you," he said snapping his fingers and producing a white rose, a spell his father had taught him before the school year started. He smiled and offered it to her.

"Not as much as you, beautiful," he smiled at her. "Green really suits you, you know? You should wear it more often," he winked at her as they entered the Great Hall and joined Morana. "Still waiting for Barty?" Rabastan chuckled. He knew how Morana hated the fact that Barty still played his little game about being a good boy, even if he was now disowned, his father still needed him sometimes. And even if Morana knew why he was doing that and she was actually doing it as well, she still hated it.

Azaria was happy that Cian thought she was beautiful. He offered her a gorgeous white rose, and she took it from him. "Thank you. It's beautiful," she said. He took her hand, which was shaking a bit. She took a deep breath and tried to calm her nerves. She had never been to any kind of dance before, but there was a first time for everything.

Morgan blushed lightly and looked away shyly at his compliment of her and that she should wear green more often. She had thought about it, adding more green to her wardrobe, but, there was just something about blue that she felt it belonged there more than green. As they entered the Great Hall, Morgan looked around and smiled at the decorations. This night was going to be something else. They made they way to Morana who was alone. Morgan went to her and hugged her, before holding her at arm's length and saying, "You look stunning, Morana. Absolutly, beautiful. Where is Barty?"
