Frosty Evening (Morderus) Empty Frosty Evening (Morderus)

Post by Emery Larken Tue Jul 23, 2013 12:46 am

Emery said on one of the many benches in the courtyard. Her cloak wrapped around her as she watched the night mist fill the air with little crystals as the approaching winter began it's slow journey over the land. Emery loved the winter and the cold. It reminded her of home, and made everything pure and clean as winter's blanket covered everything. She smiled to herself. Although Hogwarts wasn't home, having someone to care about helped to make it home. Emery's smile widened as she breathed out, creating a cloudy fog with her breath. Yes, winter was coming...

Frosty Evening (Morderus) Empty Re: Frosty Evening (Morderus)

Post by Guest Tue Jul 23, 2013 9:36 am

As Morderus watched the incoming coldness, he could simply wonder how Dementors felt in this time. But his thoughts were broken, when a beautiful girl sat in a bench. Emery. He thought. That girl was so pretty, and Morderus was slowly starting to feel something bigger for her. Morderus moved behind the bench, with a smirk on his face. Emery didn't seem to notice him. Perfect. Just how he wanted. Suddenly his arms were wrapped around her waist, as he kissed her nape. "Are you cold beautiful?"

Emery jumped as strong arms wrapped around her followed by a kiss. At the familiar voice, Emery smiled and placed a hand on the back of Morderus' head. "No, not cold," she answered and turned to give him a kiss on the cheek. "I love this time of year. It's one of my favorites..." she said as she nuzzled his jawline. "Would you like to join me?" she whispered.

Morderus nodded as Emery questioned him whether he wished to stay or not. "Of course," he said, slowly joining Emery on the bench. He put his arm around her, letting it rest on her shoulder. "I like the winter too. Though the summer let's me play quidditch easily." Morderus loved quidditch. It was simply something that distracted him from everything. And boy, did he need distractions. "Ya know...my godfather died." He let out the bad news instantly. Emery would probably be shocked, but Morderus wasn't. He was hot headed. It was normal that death came to get him. He was gonna miss potions, and spending time with Victor..

Emery leaned against Morderus as he joined her and put his arm around her. "I love watching Quidditch. I've thought about joining, but a fear of heights kind of keeps me grounded. Summer is nice, too. Swimming, sunshine, picnics, horseback riding...." she said with a sigh. When Morderus mentioned his godfather's death, she sat up and looked at him. "Morderus, I'm so sorry to hear that. When did it happen?" she asked, her brown eyes soft as she looked into his eyes.

Morderus wasn't gonna cry. He never did so. "A few days ago. Philip, our occlumency professor, came to me and said Victor died. I asked for the body, but he turned away and left." He responded with a huge sigh afterwards. "I usually don't ask for this...but, hug me?" He asked. He wasn't sad, he was sorrowful. He didn't even get to say goodbye to his dumbass godfather.

Emery watched as his eyes filled, not with sadness, with sorrow. "No body? Must have been something bad, then," she said quietly, looking away. When he asked her for a hug, she looked up, her eyes mirroring the same sorrow he felt. Emery smiled sweetly and wrapped her arms around his neck and sat on his lap. "Are you going to be alright?" she whispered into his ear. She didn't know Victor very well, other than as her potions professor that she hadn't had time to experience due to them being at Hogwarts from the start of term. It was a pity as potions was one of her strengths in school.

Morderus wrapped his arms around Emery's waist, as she gave him what he asked for. "He probably fought someone. Dark times are waiting for us," Morderus said, slowly playing with Emery's hair. "I shall be fine. Don't you worry beautiful." he purred. His hand traveled down to her back, as he looked into his side. His godfather was another person he cared about. Now, there were simply two. "Whole life is gonna be a hell of a ride from now on."

Emery looked into his eyes, a flicker of worry crossing hers, "There are things in motion now, I can feel them. And, I think you might be right in saying that they will be dark. It's like an unforeseen storm on the sea, and I think it's going to hit when everyone least expects it." Emery cuddled into Morderus' chest and sighed heavily, "I'm here for you, love. Whether you're alright or not, I'm here." She looked up at him, kissed his jaw feather lightly, and smiled, "Even if the ride is rough, as long as we are together, I believe we will make it through."

Morderus stared directly into Emery's eyes. His sorrow could still be seen. "Darkness is coming. Victor knew that. Now darkness took him away." As she fondled him, kissing his jaw, Morderus played with Emery's hair, twirling it. "We'll make it through. I will as long as you're with me."

Emery watched as the sorrow Morderus was feeling was fully visible in his eyes as he looked into hers. "Do we need to worry about the coming darkness, Morderus? I feel as if we need to be cautious," she asked quietly. At his words that they will make it if they have each other, she gently placed her hand on his cheek, and managed a smile. The worry that was filling her eyes was evident as she thought about the feelings she'd been having relating to the moving storm coming their way and the way Morderus was speaking of the Darkness that claimed his uncle. Without her knowing, a single tear slowly ran down her cheek as she looked into his eyes.

Morderus looked up at the sky, wondering what would happen next. What else would be coming to haunt him? "Darkness always calls for caution," he answered firmly. A hard truth, that no one could ignore. Not even Morderus. But Emery didn't seem to be taking that truth all too well. "Hey, hey..." Morderus quickly wiped Emery's tear, pulling her into a strong embrace. "Do not cry. Never cry unless the reason is extremely strong." Morderus said, carefully caressing Emery's face. She was so sensitive.

Emery fell into Morderus' hug, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. I didn't know I was..." This was the truth. Until Morderus wiped the tear away, she didn't even know it was there. "I promise I won't cry until the need it really there," she whispered to him and kissed his cheek. She carefully picked her next words, "Before your godfather....died, did he tell you anything about what's coming? I've heard things, but only rumors and whispers from some people."

Morderus held Emery tightly. Poor sweet little thing. "Very well. You can't cry. It shows weakness. And if dark times are upon us, you never want to show weakness," he whispered back, "He was in way deeper than what we thought. He knew a lot, but simply gave me encrypted messages. He simply gave me this..." He put his hand under his shirt, and toke out a necklace. "Deathly Hallows. He simply told me if anything got out of hand, this would be what I would search for...but I, I have no idea on what to do with this." Morderus stated.

Emery knew she could be strong, and now that there was someone beside her, she knew she was just that must stronger. She now had something to be strong for besides herself, and she wasn't going to let him down. As he showed her the necklace his godfather had given him and explained what little he knew about it, she gently held the symbol in her hand. "I've never seen this symbol before," she raised her eyes to him. "What are the Deathly Hallows?" she asked.

Morderus was gonna try to explain. The best he could. "The Deathly Hallows," he started, "are three objects made, supposedly, by Death himself, for the three Peverell brothers for cheating Death. An invisibility cloak, an unbeatable wand made from an elder tree and a resurrection stone that brings the dead back to the living world. It is said that the one who has all three, can cheat death. But that's the tricky thing. It's simply written in The Tales of Beedle the Bard. If I suddenly started to look for them, it could be a wild goose hunt. I'd be wasting time." He explained the story, that he loved to hear from his godfather whenever they were bored.

Emery continued to look at the symbol on Morderus' necklace as he told her what the Deathly Hallows actually were. "I know that story. It's one of my favorites," she said looking up at him. "You mean, they are actually real?" she asked, her brown eyes light and warm. "If you're supposed to find them, did your godfather give you any hints on where to start?" she asked looking back at the necklace and leaning into his chest as she sat in his lap. She had grown up hearing the story of the three brothers, but never truly put any stock in the story. It was just a story... Wasn't it?

Morderus nodded, as emotion was no longer shown on his eyes. "For what Victor told me...yes." he responded, his mind, going back to the time his godfather had told him about everything. "The elder wand, resides with the most powerful wizard," Morderus started, pulling Emery even closer, "the stone resides with the most arrogant and depressed," he continued,  "and the cloak, this one, resides with the most keenest one of all." Morderus finished the little message Victor had given him. "My thoughts on this," he put his hand behind his neck. "The elder wand resides with the strongest, so, Headmaster Dumbledore." He told his theory. Why should it not be that way? But, how could Morderus get it?

Emery listened, resting her head against his shoulder, as he told the theory of where the Hallows might be. As he listed off where the items might be, she couldn't help but wonder who might hold each piece. She looked out in front of her thinking. "But, the Elder Wand could be with the Minister, too. The Minister is a powerful witch, too. Couldn't it?" she asked. Suddenly, she thought of something, "Why do you want to find them, Morderus?"

Morderus shook his head slowly. "Compared to headmaster Dumbledore?" he asked, "She is nothing." He continued. As Emery questioned Morderus yet again, Morderus smirked. This question was interesting. But easy to answer, "Be the master of death. I would never have to worry about dying. And neither would you. I mean, with them, we could live a happy life. No one would disturb us." Morderus said, highly expecting a good reaction. He was already planning to make Emery his queen once they were of age. Specially since he was starting to completely love her.

Emery nodded, "Yeah... True...." The Minister was a powerful witch, but, really, compared to the Headmaster of Hogwarts.... Emery would rather come across the Minister in a dark alley if she was on her bad side instead of Dumbledore. As Morderus' next comment sunk in, she sat bolt upright and looked at him, her eyes filled with surprise. "You mean that, Morderus?" she asked barely above a whisper. Inside Emery tried not to hope for the answer those words sounded like they meant: he loved her. She wanted it to be true as she was starting to love him with all her heart. Emery would be happy to live and walk by his side everyday, if he would have her.

Morderus nodded, at Emery's question. The growing love didn't allow him to do otherwise. "Of course Emery. I want us to be together forever. I love you." he answered, the last part came out a bit slower. Emery had quickly made Morderus attached to her. He didn't even know how. It simply happened. But he was glad and happy about it.

Emery's heart felt like it could explode with happiness as Morderus answered as Emery had tried to not hope he would. The happy light that filled her eyes was as bright as the sun on a warm spring day. Her smile, just as bright. She quickly wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him tight. "I love you, too," she purred, slowly in his ear, the words just coming to her like she was meant to say them to him and only him. Emery pulled out of the hug and put her hands on either side of his face and kissed him deeply. Love was an amazing thing. Without her knowing it, she grew to love this boy, to be his forever. Love just happens...

Morderus swung his arms around Emery, pulling her closer. He was sure of his feelings, but he was not certain Emery felt the same way. Now, he was completely sure. They could live together. Lead their lives somewhere. He held her tightly, as they engaged in a passionate kiss. The deathly hallows talk was over. Morderus was now focused on Emery. "Guess this is turning into something even more real, huh?" Morderus asked, as the kiss was broken.

Emery rested her forehead against his, sitting one leg on either side of his lap. She smiled and gently stroked his cheek with her finger tips. "I guess so. I was afraid to hope for this, but I'm glad that I dared to try. Just a little..." she said, looking into his eyes. Such lovely eyes.... Emery could easily get lost in them. "I'm glad you found me," she whispered.
