When the Stars Align (Lilith)

Takes Place Eight years following Harry Potter's death.

Standing still with his spine straight Lucian didn't flinch as the older ravenhaired woman circled him, her fangs visible he mentally cursed himself for coming to speak to Lady lestrange and her wife without telling anyone. "You wish to marry my granddaughter" Dellen drawled her lip curling "And how am i to believe you will do right by her boy? Do you realize what that girl means to me?"

Swallowing Lucian nodded still staring at the wall, "My lady I do know because she is the same to me. I love her, i wish to be her husband if she will have me" he confessed. Dellen sniffed "A werewolf to it as well, for someone who graduated from my school i barely even know you."

A husky laugh drew Dellen's gaze from the uneasy man to the couch where her brunette wife lounged "Come now my love" she cooed "We both know you already decided to give Lucian your blessing, we have watched Lilith flourish since he met her, didn't he even save her life? I feel he has already passed your tests." Amelia's eyes danced in challenge at Dellen who scowled and strode over to the couch "Awful woman" she growled and kissed her fiercely before breaking apart. Returning her gaze to Lucian she nodded "Fine you may marry her if she will have you, but make no mistake even if i die tomorrow, if you harm her your life will be a living hell." Lucian bowed deeply to both women "I swear on my soul I will cherish her"

Lucian fled the estate moments later, dismissed once Lady Lestrange was satisfied with his intentions. He apparated to Diagon alley and strode into gringgotts bank to request his family vault be opened. The goblin in charge led him deep into the lower levels of the bank and waited outside the door after unlocking the vault. Stepping into the morgenstern vault Lucian didn't let himself glance at the other contents merely walked to a safe in the center of the room and undid the lock to retrieve a small velvet box.

The things he needed gathered he departed from London and headed to the mountains where the horsemen had made their home. A half mile from the estate the horsmen were living on Lucian ventured into the woods, with a complex set of spells he created a dry patch of land by a frozen river in the snow, the spell warming the ground so he could lay out a simple wool blanket, as snow began to fall he cast another spell to create a dome so they could enjoy the snow while staying warm. He set down a bag he had brought from Diagon alley, containing the first wine he had shared with Lilith after she had become a horsemen.

Though they could not go back to the temple the spot he had chosen looked remarkably like the spot where they had shared their first kiss. Smiling to himself he checked his watch and saw that his men should be escorting her to him any moment now. He laid out some food for dinner and using another spell he created some candles to float above them and offer light. Satisfied with his work he laid in wait.

Lilith was surprised when it was other members of the Horsemen, who came to retrieve her from her training and not Lucian. He was always waiting for her at this time of the day, so that they could spend some time together. She was oficially weirded out by their request for her to change into something fancy, but she complied anyway. Those were her brothers, they wouldn't harm her in any way. And so she went to her room and dressed in a short dress in the Morgenstern color of midnight blue, letting her hair lose, The dress hugged her figure perfectly, the silk providing surprising comfort compared to the fighting gear she usually wore.

When she was satisfied with herself, she walked out of the door and couldn't help but smirk seeing the faces of her brothers stare at her in a way she was quite sure could send Lucian to a jealous rage. Over the years with him, she learnt to see the beauty she possessed and she grew to love herself the way she was. Her extensive horsemen tattoo was showing on her back and exposed shoulder, showing that while she did dress like a lady, she was nowhere near a damsel in distress. In fact, she could kill with her bare hands, with or without a special attire. 

She wanted to ask so many questions, but decided against it as she was led into the woods and down to the small river. She knew this place. She would spend some of her free days in here, because for some reason, it reminded her of the Horsemen temple, her home they were forced to leave. And right there, he was sitting. Lilith couldn't help but smile at the setting and thanked herself for her attire choice in her mind. "Lucian, what is all this?" she asked when she finally approached close enough for him to hear her with his werewolf hearing.

Lucian looked at lilith for a moment his jaw slack, he was always awed by her beauty and now was no acception. One of his men coughed and he shook himself "Dismissed men, thank you" holding out a hand to lilith he took her and pulled her to him kissing her soflty. "What i cant spoil my girl?"

Lilith always remembered her first years with Lucian and how insecure she was when it came to his feelings and affection. Since then, long time has passed and Lilith now knew when she took his breath away and mainly, she knew how. "You always spoil me," she whispered into his lips as she returned his kiss. He was the best thing that ever happened to her.

He chuckled and nuzzled her neck before pulling her down to lounge on the blanket beside him. Snow began to fall outside the perfect little spot he had created and he picked up a straw berry and pressed it to her lips before kissing her again. "How are you my love?"

"Curious?" she replied as she ate the strawberry. Lucian could be sweet when he wanted. Towards her anyway. But he was rarely this nice and that got Lilith beyond curious.

He grinned and dropped a kiss on her brow, "you act as if i am some brute incapable of showing you the kind of treatment you deserve." he chided her pecking a kiss on her lips. "You deserve to be treated as a queen."

"Oh, but you are a brute. But you are mine," she smiled at him returning his kiss with another of her own. "And that does not mean you don't treat me like a queen," she added, taking another strawberry. "But this is simply unusual for us, that's all. I love it, though," she stated afterwards, hoping he understood, that she was happy.

He chuckled "My oh so suspicious Lilith, you make me want to jump off a cliff with madness but i wouldn't want it any other way." he teased her before rolling to his knees and grabbing some strawberries and some chocolate he had brought that had remained safe in his bag. Putting the food between them he nibbled at the fruit then handed her a glass of champagne.

The glass was opaque and couldn't be seen through, but he knew once she drank the sparkling liquid and finished her glass she would find a old but beautiful ring.

"Suspicious is my middle name," she smirked, amused by his words. Of course her middle name was different, but for years now, everyone refused to acknowledge it. Well, at least her godfather and his wife did, which meant practically the entire family. Lilith herself remembered the woman, who was her godmother and whom she was partially named after, only briefly.

Taking the glass of champagne from him, letting it collide with his shortly after. "To the sweet moments we share," she proposed a toast before taking a sip. She didn't notice it at first, but on the second look, she saw something shine in the liquid, which caused her to look closer. What she saw put her into a temporal state of shock. "Lucian," she whispered, her words lost as she took out the ring.

He watched her sipping at his own glass. When she found the ring he leaned into her and kissed her cheek. "I love you Lilith" he said "I know i'm not always perfect, I know you could do better and find someone who could be a cuddly pup all the time but being with you these last few years has been the best of my life and i never want that to end. There is a war on, i know. But i don't care, Marry me lil? be my wife?"

Lilith watched the ring with fascination as she listened to him. "Don't you dare say I could do better ever again," she nearly hissed at him as he finished his speech. "There is no one, who could be better for me, than you are. I know you wouldn't be here asking me now, if my grandmother thought you are not the best for me. And I would not be saying yes, either," she added with slight frown as she slipped the beautiful ring on her finger and gave him a searing kiss right after.

Lucian grinned at her admonishment and kissed her deeply before laughing. He pulled out his wand and his patronus appeared, "she said yes" he told the beast as it loped off towards the estate. He could tell his announcement had reached the horsemen when a shout was heard and fireworks exploded over head.

"A bit much, don't you think?" Lilith commented on the whole show that unfolded after. Of course he was the leader, so people probably were curious. But Lilith liked to keep to herself. Even after all these years, such a public announcement made her feel slightly uneasy, though she hid it perfectly.

He laughed again and kissed her cheek "it was the horsemen's idea. they are excited to welcome there sister as there leader. Besides..have you ever tried to stop my sister from doing what she wanted? had i tried to get this past her so she wouldn't set off a display we would have all been in danger."

"We should've just pretended I said no. Imagine how that would go," Lilith laughed at the idea of a ruined party. Of course that would probably bring more trouble, than it's worth, but it would be quite good temporal joke for sure.
