Curiosity at its Finest (Closed)

Violetta hardly ever bothered with venturing into the Czech Republic. The place was fine and all, but she found herself preferring the darker places of the UK instead. It was not extremely abnormal to be more comfortable in a place that one knew well, but she had figured that with the lull in activity in her home country, she would take a look around the land that many dark witches and wizards had found their home.

She was just walking down a quiet street, even the sky more dull that it was back home. Violetta kind of like it, the way that it added to the atmosphere. But otherwise it wasn't much different. Seeing a bench up ahead, she made her way over to it and sat casually, though her real intention was to overhear something that a group of shady looking men were in deep conversation about as they gathered a good few metres away.

Reaper was in a odd mood. He landed in the middle of the group of the men, a shick wave of flames ingulfed them. He briskly approached Violet and grinned. "Come come" he said hedding towards the out skirts of the city. "I have something to shoooow youuuu" he sang. He put his hands in is pockets and chucke. "I want to show you my last act in the Grimm Divine War"

Before she managed to hear anything of interest from the group of men, flames seemed to appear out of nowhere as they engulfed them all. Violetta hardly batted an eye at the scene, watching as Reaper walked toward her. A smirk appeared on her lips as she stood and said, "hello to you, too." She had no idea if his appearance was just coincidence, or if he was looking for her- and if so, how he'd figured out exactly where she was- but still, she followed him anyway. "I hope it's interesting. I don't particularly enjoy thinking about the Divines, you know?" she said, her tone laced with amusement, wondering what had him in such a good mood.

Reaper smiled as he guided her into down a dirt trail, it lead to a incredibly large graveyard. When he opened the gates, the area they were in changed. A graveyard in a graveyard...how fun?" he said with amusement. Walking with her to the very center. There was a large monument, a tower with slopped tops and curved 90 degree's, the diameter was 50m long. On the wall, was written over eight hundred and fifty thousand names. On the left hand side, the names were in gold, on the right, they were silver. The silver names had one thing in common. "Divine" the gold had a singular thing in common "Grimm"

Reaper turned and faced her. "This. Is the cost of war" his mood suddenly turning very dark. "The young, the weak, the innocent, the guilty and the old." He gestured to the thousands upon thousands of singular graves surrounding the elegantly made monument to the dead.

The curved wall touched backs with another that listed the dead of the other Nexian's that fell. This one was slightly smaller, showing that the Grimm and Divines were the significantly weakened, and had lost more.

"This. Is what we did. This is the burden that rests on my shoulders, that to do what was right. I had to do something terrible. I butchered my own. I butchered my enemies. The blood on my hands shall never wash. Are you sure that you can handle it?"
