The Land of Encounters (Oliver)

The corridors were a normal passage for most people but not for a certain third year Hufflepuff. To Elvorix Kearns, it was hell. The crowds of students trying to get to different places at once posed dangers of falling and bumping into one another. However, there was no way to avoid this crucial part of Hogwarts, so he walked through them.

With his Transfiguration textbooks in hand, he walked into what he liked to call "the herd." Just as he had expected, Elvorix had witnessed some encounters. Some students were okay with the whole thing, but others, not so much. He saw at least a few hexes fly before he could even get close to Classroom 1B.

It wouldn't be long before Elvorix too had bumped into somebody. The Badger dropped his books and reached down to grab them. However, he did not see the person's face or house. It could have been a nasty Slytherin for all his luck.

Oliver was walking to his charms class room with his and his sisters text books. He smiled as he walked laughing and waving to anyone who knew him. He was glad to be here, he was glad him and his sister had a place to run away from all the problems of their family. true he did miss his mother and father but, at he moment being at the school where he could be himself was amazing.

Oliver looked down and saw the boy but only a few seconds before they crashed into each other. Oliver fell backwards his sister and his own text book went flying. He cursed under his breath and looked at the boy. Luckily Oliver hadn't fallen to the ground, only stumbled a bit. He sighed and grabbed his books. He then looked at the boy. "I'm sorry I should have been watching where I was going" he told the boy flashing a smile to tell him not harm had been done.
