Beneath The Mask (Invite Only)

Barty felt his arm burn and somewhere behind him he saw his wife disappear, over an hour passed before it sounded like a storm was raging over there heads but not a drop of rain fell. He squeezed the cane he used to walk with tightly waiting patiently and all at once he found his reward.

A crash exploded and Potter appeared on the ground holding the portkey he had placed in the maze along side the dead body of cedric diggeroy. Screams filled the air as the teachers rushed forward. Barty was the first in his guise as professor Moody to reach him "Potter, here boy!" he grabbed potter off diggeroy "Come now!"

Harry refused to let go of Cedric, even when Albus called for him, but when Moody outright ripped him from the corpse of his friend he roared louder than before, bursting into tears as the professor took him away to his office.

Looking in awe at the body of Cedric Sirius clenched his fists just as he felt a hand touch his shoulder, "Brother," he turned around to see Regulus, who pulled his sleeve up showing him the mark. "He's back..." with those words Sirius turned around to call for Dumbledore whom was giving orders for Cedric's body to be taken away from public eye.

The three of them ran into the castle, picking up staff members as they went. Sirius was quite aware something was wrong with Moody but lately he had figured it was because his son had perished. But now...

Marcus watched everything from the distance, watching specialy over his sisters as he was told by his mother few days ago. She didn't know what exactly was about to happen, but she made sure Marcus do whatever it takes to keep Sophie and Magali safe. It was easier for him, since Magali stayed with Nate, for good of everyone including herself. As for Sophie, she was tough to follow. The moment she spot their father taking Potter away, Marcus could feel how uneasy she was. Even her, hotheaded idiot, was pretty sure this was hell of a risk. And as Black brothers with Dumbledore stormed away, he was only waiting to stop his sister from following them.

He caught her at the end of the hall. "Go to the carriage, seek Amelia and stay put," he hissed her, getting scared but also determined look. "This is not a game Sophia. We shouldn't be anywhere near this," he added. "It's our daddy!" Sophie sobbed. "And he wouldn't want us to die, would he? Now go! I will stay hidden and I will tell you everything. I promise. Stay safe, Sophia," he whispered to her and watched his sister leave, before he completely disappeared in the shadows, waiting for his chance to get to his father.

Dragging him to his office he tossed the boy into a chair, he tugged his long coat off and threw it down running a hand through his greasy hair "What happened potter" he growled cracking his neck he looked down at the boy with wild eyes "was it him!?"

Trembling and clenching and relaxing his hands Harry breathed in and out in quick succession his eyes open wide. He had seen his friend getting killed, the return of his greatest enemy and for once he had actually spoken to see his parents... "He was there...he killed him," he growled under his breath.

Opening a flask he tried to poor the contents into his mouth but found it empty, tossing it aside he leaned over harry grasping the handles of the chair "What was he like" he hissed "were there others in the graveyard?"

Harry had many others to describe the bastard who had ordered the death of his friend and who had many years before killed his parents. But there was one who summed it up better than all the others... "Evil..." he whispered, but then shot a confused gaze at the professor... "...I didn't mention a graveyard... professor..." he said only.

Barty licked his chaped lips and stepped back pawing at hos chest "course you did son" he growled lookong around urgentlly he grabbed for a empty glass that once held potion. His skin began to burn as he felt the transformation coming, with shaking hands he pointed his wand at harry "dont move boy!" Chains erupted and held him as the potion began to fade and barty's insane laughter broke the heavy silence.
