Alaska finally did it. Maybe she grown guts knowing she has place to go if this whole thing goes downhill. Probably. She wondered if Xanthos will join her as she left him a note saying what she was about to do. She wondered what will happen once the door will open. What will she say? What will they say? She alredy met Astoria. She seemed cool. But there were other two. And adults as a bonus. So now, she was standing in front of a Greengrass mansion, wearing only her favourite, worn off boots, jeans and casual Ravenclaw shirt Xanthos surprisingly bought to her few weeks ago. He probably understood, that she will avoid proper lady attire as much as possible. Nervously, she knocked on the door and waited for somebody to come and open them.

Alexis shook her head in amusement as she listened to her brother's usual antics. It was nothing new to her, having heard it from her parents her entire life as well. A knock on the door ended the conversation and she raised an eyebrow at her brother's request for her to open the door. "I don't live here anymore, Gerald," she said, thinking of her days living in the mansion as a child. Their parents had moved out, into a smaller house on the property to allow Gerald and his wife to start their family there. Walking over to the door, she pulled it open to come face to face with a young woman, and she smiled brightly, "hello. What can I do for you?"

Astoria was speaking quietly with her mother, trying to explain to the woman that she would be friends with whoever she liked when the knocks on the door sounded. Though her mother glared at her as she did so, the middle Greengrass daughter stood from her seat and walked up behind her aunt, looking around the woman to see a familiar face standing at the door. Her eyes widened and the warmth drained from her face, but after a moment she smiled and nodded in understanding, "Alaska, please come inside."

Daphne had been sitting by the window, calmly watching her sister's argument with their mother with a blank expression on her pale face. She knew of Astoria's friendship with the Hufflepuff and although she would rather have wished for someone of a more wealthy family to catch the younger girl's attention, Daphne could find no fault with the boy. He seemed to be loyal to a fault and would not let her sister down, which was just as well for him, for she would not take kindly to anyone hurting her sibling. Her head turned slightly when a knock sounded from the door and her brows drew into a frown when she heard Astoria greet someone. Slowly, Daphne rose from her chair to stand behind her mother, looking towards the new arrival with cool and detached calculation.

Before Alaska could say a word, Astoria invited her in. And as she stepped in, she wished she did speak first and act later. Probably whole family was now staring at her, most likely eager to know what was she doing on their doorstep. And given the fact, how Astoria's face looked first few seconds she saw Alaska, she could tell she came in the worst possible moment. "Uhm... hello everyone," she started, not exactly sure what to do next. "I hate to ruin the afternoon here, but I... well I came... gah... how do you say this? My name is Alaska Greengrass. You never heard of me and you probably never would if I didn't finally decide to come here. I am daughter of Gerald Greengrass," she said finally, nervous as hell, waiting for what will happen next.

Annabelle was sitting on her bed upstairs, humming a tune as she applied her make up. She wore a crop top and short shorts and planned to go find someone to drink with. Yet her plans evidently changed when she heard noises downstairs. Who that could be she did not know, so she finished quickly and skipped down the steps to see it was the one Ravenclaw chick Astoria had been talking about "What do we have here?" She said with a slight smirk, looking the girl over.

The spasmic widening of her eyes was the only indication of the shock that went through her body at the declaration she was faced with, as her face remained perfectly blank. Over the years, Daphne had mastered the art of completely disguising her emotions and thoughts from those she did not wish to see, but being told that she had an illegitimate sister was pushing even her extensive skills.

After the initial shock, she let reason take over her mind again and was capable of calmly observing the situation before her very eyes. Obviously, Astoria had already known about the girl, if her reaction was anything to go by and Daphne knew that her younger sister would not be easily fooled, so the girl might actually speak the truth about being their sibling. Letting her eyes run over the girl with a detached expression in them, Daphne noticed how her hair kept changing and that she did not seem to be much older than herself. That meant that her father must have got some woman pregnant just before doing the same to her own mother, she realized, her eyes cooling even more as she thoughtfully stared past the strange girl.

Annabelle’s appearance at her side made her snap out of her mind and Daphne slightly inclined her head towards Alaska. “This girl claims to be our father’s daughter.” She said, her voice carefully void of any emotion she might feel. Daphne would not give any insight into her mind and heart in front of a complete stranger, even if she was related by blood. In the end, blood only got you so far, and while it was more likely that she would give her half-sister a chance to get to know her than a stranger, it would depend on the girl’s actions what came of it.

Annabelle raised an eyebrow at Daphne. "So they Greengrass bitches have gone up in number? Sounds good to me. An even four, no one will mess with us now" She laughed, throwing a wink at Alaska "Our secret weapon inside Ravenclaw right here" While Anna was troubled by this piece of information, she chose not to show it and hid behind her own little form of humor.

Alaska wasn't sure if she should find this whole situation deadly serious or utterly ridiculous. After all, she just walked into a house of a strager and told everyone she belongs here. What was she thinking? Feeling the engagement ring on her finger, for a moment she cursed herself for even coming. She will be Gamp soon enough. They would never ever figure out she was related to them. As if one insane family wasn't enough. As she stood there, observed like a rare animal in the zoo, she had serious doubts about her desicion. "Look, I don't really want anything from you. You weren't in my life before and you don't have to be now. But I am kinda stuck here in UK, or so it seems for now," she said showing her engagement ring. "So I thought I might as well just come and tell the truth before any of you accidentaly finds out," she finished.
