Lost and Confused (Blaise)

Vanessa had been wandering around Diagon Alley. She hadnt been paying attention so before she knew it, she was lost. She looked aorund and saw a bunch of scary people and shops with scary items in them. She whimpered when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She jumped and turned around ready to attack

Blaise walked between the patrons of Kockturn Alley with his expression blank despite his repulsion at the stench that radiated from many of them. This was not the place for anybody who had use of their nose, or even their eyes, but he had had no choice in the matter. His mother had requested that he pick up a book for her from the dingy street, and with said book wrapped in brown paper and held safely under his arm, he made his way back toward Diagon.

He almost walked past the girl who had seemed as out of place there as he did, but noting that she was from his own year and appeared a little frightened, he approached her. Dropping a hand on her shoulder, he intended to point her in the right direction when she turned, poised for attack. “Calm down, little Ravenclaw,” he said, “are you lost?”

Vanessa recognized the boy as a Slytherin in her own year, but she did not know him name. But he obviously knew who she was. Or at least knew her name. She smiled when he asked if she was lost. She blushed and nodded as she pushed her hair back. She tried to remember his name, "Blake is it?"

Blaise didn’t return her smile, but he nodded. He was prepared to help this girl, merely because she was so young compared to the others who dwelled in Knockturn. “Blaise,” he corrected, before glancing around. He hoped that she had only ended up in the dark alley by accident and needed direction out, rather than to one of the shops within. “Where were you headed?”

"Oh right, My apologies, Blaise." SHe knew about Blaise based off the rumors. He was apparently a sex god. The girls called him the Italian Stalion. She giggled at the thought then cleared her throat. "Um, back to the castle. I wandered here by mistake." She looked up at him and noticed he was rather attractive. She blushed and smiled shyly

Blaise nodded once in regard to her apology, not particularly phased that the girl didn’t correctly remember his name. He liked to make it his business to know the names of people at Hogwarts, and what was going on within the castle grounds. His approach was to be quiet, and therefore he usually heard more than people knew. Raising an eyebrow as the Ravenclaw’s cheeks flushed, he bit back a remark on the matter and instead raised a hand in the direction of Diagon Alley, “it happens all the time. This way.”

Vanessa smiled and began walking, but she turned back. SHe looked at the boy and smiled. "You coming or what?" She looked around at all the scary wizards and witches and really didnt want to walk back by herself

Blaise paused for a moment and watched as she began to walk toward the exit of the dark Alley, looking more confident than mere minutes before. When she turned to him, he chuckled to himself, before saying quickly, “of course.” He quickly caught up with her before slowing his pace to lead her to Diagon.

Vanessa smiled and made her way through the crowds of dark wizards and witches. As she walked along side Blaise, her hand brushed against his and she felt a tingle she couldnt explain. NOt like the fire she felt with Ethan, but a tingle. She shook her head and decided to ignore it, but did not move her hand away. She liked the tingle, but it made her miss her flame

Blaise focused on what was straight ahead of him as he walked, though he subtly glanced around every now and then to ensure that he was safe. It was as he and his companion neared the exit of Knockturn when her hand brushed his and his hand froze, though he forced himself to keep walking. Bringing his arms so that they were slightly in front of his thighs, so that his hand wouldn’t touch hers again, Blaise said, “here we are. You’re out. Was there anything else that you needed?”

Vanessa frowned as they reahced their destination. "No, I guess not." She sighed and looked back at the dark alleyway behind them. She turned to Blaise and smiled. "Thank you for leading me to safety." She kissed his cheek innocently and began walking towards the castle. She wanted to go see Ethan, so that is what she would do
