Lexi had just finished training for the past two hours and decided after a quick energy reviving shower, she'd escape to the Library. She had found out from this random Ravenclaw, Soraya that there were alchemy books and even some from Elias Ashmole. Excitement filled the entirety of her body but would never admit her obsession with alchemy.

After drying her hair magically, giving her those natural waves, she pulled on her shorts and white shirt that made her feel comfortable. ''Mister Ashmole. Here I come.'' She said, her tone light before she sprinted to the library. Skidding outside of it, not out of breath, she kept her expressionless face locked onto the librarian. ''Hello, Ma'am. I'm looking for books by Elias Ashmole. You know...Celebrated English Antiquity? Politician? Officer of Arms? Astrologer? Student and brilliant man of Alchemy? I mean c'mon! He was supported by Royalist side during the English Civil War!'' Lexi erupted, throwing her hands up in the air at the woman's blank expression of confusion until a much older woman rushed over, tucking her white hair behind her ears. ''Sorry, Miss. She's my newest assistant. Elias Ashmole is at the very end? I'm sure you'll be able to find it there. Be careful with the books.'' She said, patting Lexi's hand with her wrinkled one. Lexi gave a very small smile a, rushing towards the end and taking in the old smell of books along with the scent of almonds and vanilla that belonged to her perfume. It mixed well with the book smell and made her feel at peace.

Skimming her fingers along the pages, Lexi's hazel eyes took in the beautiful sight of golden writing along the edge of a dark rugged book. Instantly, she knew it was what she wanted. Sliding it out of the shelf as delicately as possible, she found a window seat that the light was perfect for around eight in the morning. She knew she should've been eating but even after training at six, she wasn't hungry. Sliding into the plush cushions, she pried open the book with extra care and took in the smell again. It was divine.

'Anthropologia, or a treatis containing a short description of man, in two parts: The first Anatomical, the second Psychological.' Lexi read out loud, voice slipping into one almost like awe. Turning the cover page, she stifled a grin. She thought the book was a palimpsest and her suspicions were confirmed when the faint gold letters twinkled in the early morning light beneath the real words. A manuscript within a manuscript but she ignored it anyway. Pulling a desk close to her side, she grabbed a piece of paper and a forever ink quill before she translated the latin that she was very good at. She found herself so lost in the book that she did not sense the person coming into her quiet area.

„No.“ „Yes.“ „No!“ „Yes. „NO!“ „…“ „Fine! I’ll go, damn you.” Tatsu spun around after shooting her cousin a death glare and stalked to the library. What did it matter to him if she did her homework or no? He wasn’t her damn father after all! Still, somehow she could never be angry with him for long and so instead of fighting a battle she would no doubt lose, she just left him standing in the corridor and walked away, although she was still fuming slightly.

After wandering around aimlessly for a while, Tatsu at last gave up the pretense of ignoring her cousin and entered the old library. Immediately, her senses were tickled by the soft murmurs of studying children, the dim light of the candles and the slightly stale scent of very old parchments. The library was always a place of knowledge, peace and silence and after all the noises the castle was usually filled with, the quiet was a nice change. Not quite silent enough to be deafening, but enough to calm her down.

As she strolled along the high shelves, Tatsu heard the soft voice coming from the other side of it, where the study desks were located and she slowly moved towards an older girl from one of the other schools. For a moment, she just observed her, curious by what kind of book would have put the girl so in its spell for she had not noticed Tatsu approaching her. “This sure must be a most engaging book to capture your attention so…” she remarked, pitching her voice to a lower tone, so she wouldn’t be overheard by anyone else. The librarian always was very strict when it came to her rules. And strict rules they were.

Lexi rose her head slowly, locking onto the blonde haired girl instantly. She looked interesting and from quick observation, from Hogwarts. Her mind pinpricked at different Houses but could not figure out which one. Perhaps Slytherin or Ravenclaw due to their area of meeting. Gently closing the book causing it to let out a soft sigh and a quick burst of its beautiful scent. ''Yes, you could say so.'' She said, her own tone low to escape the librarians wrath. ''Alchemy is always mind capturing..especially the works of Elias Ashmole. Along with the works of Nicolas Flamel...but they are quite similar with certain aspects.'' She commented, her voice wistful and almost dreamy before snapping back into reality and normality. ''Lexi Knox at your services...and you are?'' She introduced, putting her quill to the side and held out her hand, eyebrow raised.

"Alchemy? Really?" Tatsu raised her brow in surprise and took a curious step closer to the table to get a closer look at the old book. It did look quite impressive with its elegant golden writing and she reached out to gently trace it with the tips of her fingers. She had never been very interested in books, preferring the practical exercises to the theory, but that did not mean that she did not like to learn new things. "I heard they teach that at Wolfclaw...your school then?" she asked. Tatsu never got them right if she didn't already know where they were from. Her interest was piqued when she heard a familiar name. "Flamel? Now I have heard of him. He made the philosophers stone, right?" she tried to remember what else she knew, but she did not spend lots of time in History...not mentally at least.

Taking a seat next to the older girl, Tatsu reached out to shake the offered hand. "Tatsu Savage, it's a pleasure." she answered with a slight smirk.

Lexi nodded, understanding people's surprise. She was once asked if she was reading romance novels which was why she was so sunken in the story but when she declared it was actually a history book, she was stared at as if she had grown a second head. Sliding the book gently towards the girl, she smiled. ''It's filled with beautiful illustrations that even shimmer in different lights. The writer was friends with multiple witches and had asked them to make him paints and inks to do this effect. You can still smell all the different ingredients to make them.'' She said, her tone turning dreamy again. Shaking her head, Lexi tucked a leg underneath her body. ''I'm from Durmstrang but i didn't know they taught Alchemy at Wolfclaw. Sounds fun..'' She commented with a small smile. She had wondered what the lessons were like at that school because of how Hogwarts teaches. She knew already of Beauxbaton, having a long conversation with some of them. ''Flamel? Oh yes. Only known maker of the stone and created the elixir of life. Did you know he was an opera lover? Then again, that's probably true for everyone around that life time.'' She mused with a furrow of her brow but shook out of it with a lopsided smile.

Turning slightly so Lexi could still take in the girl now sitting next to her, she observed the fact she was younger and with the smirk and name, figured out she was indeed a Slytherin. Shaking her hand firmly, she then placed her hands laced on her lap. ''How do you know if it's a pleasure when you've just met me? I've never actually understood that.'' She said, her own smirk taking place.
