Patchwork Sisters (Ember)

Chase threw her bloody shirt on the floor her arms shaking as she struggled to take the pain meds that would numb her body and mind. Downing them with some whiskey she sat on her bed staring at the floor. She'd never felt so alone in her life and all she wanted was to have her sister back.

Ember walked into her dorm, covered in blood and a bow in her hand after some hunting. Glancing up to see Chase, she furrowed her brow at the whiskey and put the bow on her bed. ''Chasey?'' She said nervously. It had been a while since she spoke to Chase and seeing the meds and whiskey, it made her sad that she didn't know why.

Chase flinched at her name looking up her dead eyes took in the blood "whats all that" she said monotone.

Ember took note of the dead eyes and looked down at herself. ''Urm...Blood. I hunt..'' She answered.

"yeah you hunt alright" she said sarcastly as her mind wouldnt let her forget what her sister had done to her.

Ember almost flinched at the sarcastic comment and took apart her bow to put it in the trunk, a calming thing for her to do. ''I'm sorry you know...I will say that every single day for the rest of our lives until you take me back. The moment we came into this dorm, we became sisters and i swore to myself i'd always protect you after that fight and i broke that promise when i didn't protect you from myself.'' She said, hanging her head down in defeat.

"I came here thinking for once in my life i'd be wanted" she said harshly as she finished bandaging her lacerated arm and tossed the cloth she had used to stop the bleeding next to her shirt. "for once in my life I wouldnt be alone and abandoned like i was the day i got dropped in that fucking orphanage" she looked at her the dead eyes she now had examing the gulty girl "when i met you and ricky i thought that changed but no i was stupid to think i could trust anyone that i had the right to love anyone because you fucked the guy i love breaking my heart right after he fucked me and told me he couldnt be around me then he goes off and dates my cousin. Well this has taught me a valuable lesson."

Ember listened and then walked over to Chase, head still low and fell to her knees in front of her. ''But you are wanted...I..I don't know what to say, Chase except for I'm sorry. I can't explain Ricky's actions but it just happened. I have no feelings for Ricky and he has no feelings for me. It was a horrible mistake and i regret every single minute of it. I hate myself for doing such a thing and it will never happen again because you love him. I knew it before i did what i did and i still can't believe i would hurt you.'' She said before glancing up at Chase. ''I love you, Chase...I really do and i will forever and always even if you don't forgive me for my actions. I must admit...i am pretty stubborn and will not stop to make you forgive me.''

Her heart softened but she shook her head "how am i to trust you again ember? to trust anyone?"

Ember sighed. ''Trust is a hard thing to get again and it's such a precious thing. I will stop at nothing to make you trust me again. Name my task and i shall do it.'' She said, locking eyes with Chase to show honesty, love and hope.

She held out her metal hand reluctantly and took embers pulling to sit with her "perhaps we can try and see what will happen" she said softly "with simply trying to be together again"

Ember stared at the metal hand, in anger but then sat down next to her. ''I missed you...'' She whispered, her eyes wandering over Chase before biting her bottom lip. ''I can try that..'' She said firmly.

Holding her injured arm to herself she pulled ember in and hugged her tightly kissing her hair she stroked her hair "i know my hand is ugly now" she chuckled "my entire body is covered in injuries that will stay with me forever"

Ember gasped at the tight hug and held onto Chase for dear life. ''You should never say part of you is ugly, Chase..You will always be beautiful in my eyes.'' She whispered truthfully and kissed Chase's cheek before her eyes met Chase's, resting their forehead's together. ''You have survived a battle. May not be like one of the battles in a book but your own. I wish i was there...to help you and keep you safe.'' She whispered.

"i'm being tortured" she ssaid dully "every day. he cut my hand off but its not enough for him he wants more.." she shook her head shaking herself from her daze. she enjoyed the heat of ember being so closed. Picking up her wand from the bed she waved it and ember's bed slammed into hers joining her in the corner. "Maybe you'll sleep again"

Ember growled, loudly actually. ''No one hurts what is mine...'' She was extremely possessive and looked down at Chase. ''Who is he?'' She asked and looked at the beds joining together. It had been so long since she slept, needing to feel the warmth of someone to sleep. She had been laying in bed or on the couch in the common room. ''Hope so..''

"I cant tell you.." she said softly "he owns me now and if i tell you he will kill you and rick"

Ember growled. ''If i ever find out, i'll kill him.'' She said and pulled Chase to her chest, kissing the top of her head. ''You're mine, Chase...not his...mine.''
