Lesson one: History of Magic
Sanguini stood at the door to the class room, ushering students inside to commence the lesson. She strode to the front of the class with an unnatural elegance, her deep blue robes making no noise what so ever, the curtains of the classroom shutting farther closed as she walked by each one, blocking out any intense light. She stopped and turned to face the class when she reached the front of the room. Her posture relaxed, almost a lazy pose yet her eyes were gleaming and exceptionally aware; her tone was feminine yet profound.
“Hello class, I am Professor Hazelwood, I will be teaching this class alongside with Potions this term, a number of you may have previously seen me in Potions.” She nodded to a few recognizable faces.
“Now History of Magic class, is primarily a lecture class, you will be having outside homework. I will not tolerate hostility or vocal mistreatment of others, particularly merely for belonging in a different House. And there will be no sleeping in my class. I will not falter to deduct points or give out detentions, is that understood? Depending on your background you may already know several of the topics we will be discussing nevertheless bare with me anyways and be respectful.”
With a wave of her wand the words “Lesson one: Early History of Magic” appeared on the black board next to where she stood.
“Any questions before we start?” She lowered her wand at a relaxed position at her side and waited.

Zoya quickly stifled her yawn on hearing the Professor's words and the accompanying glance. She was on tumultuous footing with all of her teachers, her charm and decent grades being pretty much the only reason she was even allowed into classes so even though sleeping in History of Magic was tempting, she resolved to resist it. As long as she could anyway. But the disappointment showed on her face, being able to sleep in class to catch up on said sleep lost due to pranks setting up and getting lost in the castle was the only reason she had signed up. "What a waste...." She muttered, unrolling her roll of parchment and readying her quill for a what she expected to be a mind-numbingly boring class of History of Magic.

Pushing the door open Eric walked into the room. He was early so took a seat next to Staz and began taking out his book and parchment. Unlike most people he actually loved History of Magic, he found it interesting and exciting. It was unusual to like History of Magic but it can't be bad to know about your history. Eric heard the classroom door open and noticed that this was the same teacher who thought him potions. He focused his attention on her and took in every word she said.

Celania held her head up with the arm that rested on the table and drummed her fingers on her thigh as she listened to Professor Hazelwood speak. She had already looked over this topic a few times and hoped to learn something new or this would prove to be a slow development. As the Professor concluded her mini speech asking if there were any questions, Celania held in a smart comment. There were many of her professors that she wouldn't dare mess with and Professor Hazelwood was one of them. Nevertheless she wished she would get on with the lesson.

Scarlett entered the classroom shyly, giving notices to the fact Professor Hazelwood was also the professor that did nothing to stop the bullying that was going on earlier in Potion's class. Although Professor Hazelwood really wasn't standing on great ground with Scarlett, Scarlett liked and respected Professor Hazelwood very much. She wasn't the one to play around with she meant business, and that's why Scarlett liked her. "Good afternoon, Ma'am," she greeted giving her a warm welcoming smile, deciding to take an empty sit in the front so Scarlett could focus on the work that needed to be learn.

Morgan slipped into class and smiled at her professor, "Morning, Professor," Morgan said quietly. When she looked around, she spotted Scarlett at the front of the class. She walked up and took the seat next to her. "Is this seat taken?" she whispered with a smile as she pulled out her supplies and readied for class, noting down Lesson one: Early History of Magic on the top of her parchment.

Scarlett smiled as her friend, Morgan as took a seat next to her. "Is this seat taken?" Morgan whispered, trying her best not to interrupt the lesson. Scarlett shook her head and did the same as Morgan, putting the lesson's topic as the heading on her parchment.

Regulus slipped into the classroom. Hoping he wasn't that late. He sat down, alone, on an empty desk, taking out a parchment. He placed it on the table, and toke out his quill. We are probably about to start.
