ouch....I think

Kronos Grimm lay in a hospital bed, oblivious to the world around him, the burns had gone deeper than anyone imagined Wraith had cursed Kronos using Dante, not that anyone knew, the curse meant the damage done was beyond the help of magic, his body still mostly chard and blackened, lay still, the face had healed along with part of his right arm, the lower part his healed hand for some reason had a vice like grip on the metal frame of his bed. He was in a critical continue condition, but he was recovering, slowly, very slowly. He was however beginning to awake

Jocelyn rushed through the hospital in the search for her brother, she had asked one of the healers and told her to go to the fourth floor. Jocelyn was nervously waiting in the elevator and as the doors dinged and opened she rushed to the first healer she saw to ask where her brother was lying. The healer gave her directions and Jocelyn made her way over to his room. She stopped in front of a closed door and took a deep breath, she opened the door and stepped in.

There he was lying on the bed, he was more black from the burns and Jocelyn couldn't help it than burst in tears as she stepped closer. "Kro-Kronos? Ohh.....I'm so glad you're alive, i love you so much!" Jocelyn sniffed loudly. She couldn't believe that he was still here and still alive.

Luna had arrived with Vixen and sharply asking the main office, she walked slowly to his room. She had heard one of the healers mention Jocelyn and her hand, that was already clenched, tightened. On her cheeks, there was tear stains but her eyes no longer shed them. They were a dark midnight blue, like they were when Aurora died, when all the drama of her birthmark had arisen and when Achilles became Kronos. She was chewing on her bottom lip but not from nervousness but from anger. The blood of Wraith was not on her hands and in her mind, it was a crime. He hurt, almost killed her love, the father of her children yet Marvolo or Sirius did it. She wanted nothing more than to reverse time just to stop Kronos getting hurt and to kill Wraith before he has the chance. 

Walking into the room just as Jocelyn told Kronos she loved him, she closed the door behind her. The soft thump of it being shut made her think of the sound of Wraith's body hitting the floor if she had been the one to kill him. Hearing some droplets come out of the tap, a smirk formed on her face and she chuckles under her breath as the sound made her think of how Wraith's blood would trickle off her blade if she had been the one to stab him. If only...They seem like they would be satisfying sounds. The sounds of victory and revenge...She thought to herself, her eyes cold and distant. 

Walking towards the bed, she ran her eyes over Kronos' blackened body. His face had healed and she stared at his hand that clamped onto the metal bed post. Her mouth was too dry to speak but Luna glanced at Jocelyn, taking in the tears and it made her wonder why she couldn't cry. You already cried today. Kronos wants you to be strong. That's why you can't cry or maybe it's because you're heartless, Luna. Just maybe...Nah...You care too much. She thought with a hidden roll of her eyes. 

Finding a bowl filled with cold water on the side, Luna leaned down and grabbed a cloth from the drawer. Dabbing it in the water, she presses it against his forehead. Luna sighed and finally found the courage to speak. ''Hello Jocelyn...I am sorry for your loss by the way.'' Turning her attention back to Kronos, her mind went to the tournaments and thought of Cian. Good lad and was a great friend when she needed him. 

''Kronos love...Do you want me to dab the water somewhere else, arms? It'll cool it down...Oh and baby...the twins are kicking like crazy so you best heal up soon so you can have a feel. They seem to have known you were alive...They started kicking before me and Vixen saw the sign. I guess they were worried about their daddy just as much as i was.'' She tells Kronos wanting another more than to kiss him and tell him she's so happy that he's okay and alive but her mouth just rambled on about the babies instead. ''We should pick the names you know...and Belle is so close to popping it's getting her angry. You should've seen her when i left for tonight...Thane married the she devil. I've realized i've spent a lot of time with your family and you've never been to my home... We should go there when you heal as we got loads of meds, soft bedding and four pregnant woman that will baby you and feed you until you burst.'' She smiled lightly at her words and realized she was treating Kronos as if he was going to die. Her hands shake hard but she steadies them a little and keeps dabbing his face, avoiding eye contact with Jocelyn.

Sirius shook his head, yawning. He had fallen asleep, close to Kronos. He was just some feet away, laid down on the sofa where he had slept. Once he woke up, he spotted Jocelyn entering the room and going to Kronos. Deep down, for once, he wasn't annoyed. He didn't care she was there. All he cared was Kronos was living. Pushing the blanket the nurse had given him away, and standing up, Sirius slowly dragged himself to Kronos' bedside. Looking at Luna, he chuckled softly at her rant. "Luna, go easy on'im," he whispered, gripping Kronos' wrist carefully. God that kid had scared the fuck out of Sirius with that stunt... "You gonna heal aren't ya brother?" he asked with a grin.

Marvolo followed the healer down the hall "Thanks for the patch job" she grumbled she had a thin bandage around her arm from landing on the tiles like a drunk. "Will he be ok?" the older woman sighed heavily "he will live Miss Gaunt but his body has been through much torment, the minister has been notified but I am to keep this under wraps, I am told." she eyed her over her clip board as she pushed the door to the room open.

Marvolo shot the woman a warning glance as she went to check on Kronos taking his vitals, "i've set up a potion that will slowly work its way through your system to heal you from the inside out" the healer explained, "you children best be short he needs rest"

As the woman left Marvolo crossed her arms over her chest, "how is he" she said looking at her brother and friend.

Kronos opened his eyes darting up to kiss Luna he then flopped down again, he was still in shed loads of pain and couldn't completely compute it, so he only felt a third of the actual pain "love to go-to your house, be looked after, having you provide my every need, sounds good to me my love" he coughed and groaned in agony, "Sister...you shouldn't waste tears on me, I am stubborn, too stubborn" he smiled and nodded at her,then turned to Sirius, "hand, stings, new layer of skin, let go, and I will gimme a few months or weeks" he turned to Marvolo, "A lot uglier, alive and in a lot of pain, although, with me like this, maybe Sirius will have a better chance with the girls now, I was always wooing them with my amazing looks, he was like the ugly duckling"

Marvolo laughed and walked over to the bed and ruffled his hair "your still handsome loser" she said her eyes drifted to Sirius whom she shot a sinister look before returning to her brother "you shouldn't take to long to heal if you improive your out in a week"

Luna smiled as she felt the familiar lips of Kronos press against hers. ''Your every need? Dream on and take it easy..'' She dabs his arm with the freezing cold water and remembered how Belledona asked her to cook once. She had dropped the whole tub of scolding hot water on her own foot and had to wait for it to heal but that was mainly Luna's dog's fault. He did step on her foot but Luna was glad he got away before she burnt her boy. Smiling at her memory, she recalled Belledona forcing her foot under cold water as it numbed the pain. Now it's time to do that for Kronos despite his wounds being worse. Chuckling at his words, she looked at him lovingly. ''You're not ugly, my love...you're still the most handsomest man in the world in my eyes...'' She cooed. ''Although you best stop wooing girls and they best back off. I missed out on a kill and now i want to hurt something. someone.'' She admits, sitting up and kisses Kronos' forehead.

Kronos grumbles "Rather be somewhere where they don't poke ans prod me all the time, and they won't believe me when I say my skin is still burning, Jesus...although, I still have my hair, what are the chances eh?" He feels the soothing coldness and smiles "See, better off with Luna, much better, and thanks baby, and don't worry, I don't do it on purpose, I am just to damn awesome, but you can kill them, I am cool with that"

"You can still woo Hogwarts' girls you dumbo," he said with a chuckle. "I'm too old for them anyway," he said with a chuckle, and then went back to his suspicious silence.


"You didn't miss out on a kill. I expect you to be speaking of Wraith? That motherfucker escaped somehow. Just as I was about to pierce his head with my dagger, he vanished," he said, with a growl.

Vixen arrived with Luna and simply observed as the others spoke and Luna cared for Kronos as best as she could. She was glad to see him on the mend, however slow it might be. Sticking her hands in her pockets, she moved to near his bedside table and leaned gently against it. Looking at him, she offered a shadow of her classic coy smile. Her eyes told him all she needed to say: Gave us quite the scare and glad you're still alive... She didn't need words for that. Vixen glanced to Marvolo and shrugged an apology for everything that had happened in the short time from the confrontation with Felix to now. It seemed, Vixen was adopting her old nature of not speaking unless she really had something to say.

Morgan had been doing some paper work for her internship at St. Mungo's when she got word of a burn victim coming in. "Grimm. Kronos Grimm..." Her bright eyes snapped up at the name and, without thinking, she closed her files and took off for the floor she knew he would be on. Checking with the healer on the fourth floor, Morgan found out where he would be and ran down the hall until she found his room. Entering and closing the door gently, she looked at all the people in the room. "Merlin above, what happened?" Morgan asked moving her eyes from person to person before settling on Kronos with a small caring smile.

"Shit happened," Sirius answered Morgan's question just as she finished it.

Morgan looked at Sirius as he answered her, her face reading that should could plainly see that for herself. "I figured, but what kind? And don't you dare say the bad kind...." Morgan said narrowing her eyes slightly at him before letting a small grin play with the corners of her lips.

"Long story short, a motherfucker tried to kill Kronos. He failed. But he managed to do some harm..." Sirius explained with a shrug.

Morgan's jaw went slack as she heard the brief version of what happened before looking at Kronos, her brother. "I trust you got the one responsible," she said hoping that she assumed correctly.

Crimson burst throw the doors of the hospital wing blowing past the office maid that offered to help him with out a word to her. His strides were quick and brief as he glided over the stone floor his soft leather boots never making a sound. He was looking for some one, taking quick glances left and right he scanned them as he ruched by looking for Kronos. He had heard the man was hurt badly and Crimson wanted to know how that could happen to someone like Kronos. As he scanned the room he spotted a small group of people crowded around a bed, Crimson knew a few of them and guessed that must be the bed, he walked up behind the crowed Crimson was tall enough to see over everyone. He shuttered at the charred that laid in the bed that was Kronos....

As more people filled the room, Jocelyn backed out of the room, ignoring everyone. She let herself slide down against the wall opposite of his door. Jocelyn felt uncomfortable and would return when other family members were here.

Tears streamed down her cheeks as she thought that Kronos and Dragon were killed, she was relieved that didn't happen but the whole Grimm family was in danger. Kronos looked like Dante. Jocelyn stared at the door.

Kronos coughed painfully "Hello Morgan, I am alive...just, they say that there's smoke in my lungs, not good good suppose, and  not surprising you didn't get him Sirius, trying to catch Wraith is like trying to pluck a single grain of sand from a sand storm in the Sahara desert, nigh impossible, if he wants you close to him, then you will be, few people could, set Moody on him, or when Dragon decides he back to 100% send him." Kronos turned to Crimson, "My favourite Gryffindor, hello you, long time no see. It's okay, I am only half dead, you'll get your chance" he chuckled then coughed violently, he groaned then looked at everyone and smiled. His family was here. Mostly. "Vixen, don't be shy, say hello to the gang" he soon frowned "Someone haul Jocelyn back in here please, I need my family and friends right now."

Jocelyn had her eyes closed as the door opened and someone called her name. She opened them as she was told to come back as Kronos needed her. Jocelyn frowned.'Why would he need her for, he has his Luna there with his unborn kids.' Jocelyn thought but pulled up.

She took a deep breath before she stepped back into the room, she wrong herself through the group of people until she came to Kronos' side, she didn't look at him, it was too painfull instead she looked at her hands, biting her lip to prevent herself from breaking down. She spoke softly. "You needed me? I was waiting for Legion, Thane and Dra-" she stopped as she heard her voice was shaking. She kept her mouth shut not wanting to embarass herself.

"I will discuss Wraith with Moody," Sirius said, looking at the approaching Crimson. "Ah, hey Braveheart!" Sirius greeted the Gryffindor that once upon a time, was in the quidditch team alongside Padfoot and Prongs. "Smoke in your lungs...then you nag me about smoking," Sirius joked, tilting his head to Kronos.

Luna's ears pricked up about Wraith disappearing and a cruel smirk twitched at her lips. Looking up, she nodded her head at Morgan in a sign of hello. Her eyes shifted back to Kronos and dipped the cloth back in the water before dabbing it back on Kronos' skin. A nurse had entered and added a medicine to the water for his wounds like a coating for help ease the pain. Chuckling at Sirius, she watched the two men joke around and waved at Crimson. ''Hello Crim, been a while..'' Luna said softly, her voice slightly hoarse. She was vowing to herself to get Wraith despite Sirius saying he will discuss it with Moody. Turning back to Kronos, she smiled. You ain't better off with me, stupid...Luna thought to herself, feeling one of the twins kick her. Biting her lip to stifle a groan, she rubbed her stomach and rested her forehead against Kronos' bed whilst she began to dab his legs with the freezing cold water. ''Smoking helps a person relax, Kronos...Maybe you're in need of it if you keep up that grip on the bed post.'' Luna pointed out with a small smile.

"GUYS, liberate me from this prison, pleaseeeeeee" he said with a smile " Sister, Dragon is hunting Felix with Bruce, and Thane and Legion are busy, so stay with us. Sirius, I siriusly will slap you with reducto"

Jocelyn nodded at Kronos and sat down away from the crowd on a stool looking out of the window. The best thing to do was to stay in the room as Kronos ordered her to do. She stayed out of the conversation with the group. She hadn't seen nor talked with the people in the room. She leaned with her head against the wall.

Morgan nodded her greeting to Luna. She couldn't help but notice how lovely she was, even with her swollen belly. Pregnancy suited her, flattered her. As the nurse came in and added a medicine to the cool water Luna was using to sooth Kronos' burns, Morgan picked up his file to see what the damage was. She was only interning, but she had a knack for healing as her teachers had told her time and again. Maybe there was something she could help with once she read everything that was there. "No matter who you sick on this bastard, Moody or otherwise, as long as he pays... That's all I care about," she said glancing up at Sirius with a wink before returning to the file. "No one messes with my family like this without paying a price..." she added.

Vixen hadn't really planned to speak to many of the people in the room. Some of them she didn't really know. But, Kronos asked her to be social. While she didn't have anything to say, she tipped her head to Morgan, Jocelyn, and Crimson in greeting. Looking back at Kronos, she smiled slightly. Being one of few words came naturally enough, and speaking when she really didn't have much to say was a challenge. But, she had done as he asked. Well, in her own way. "You just need to get yourself better before we can liberate ya, slick. Let yourself heal, first..." she said to him with a wink.
