Lesson one Flying

Professor Belledona smirks as she walks to the Quidditch Pitch. She throws a black broom in her hands as she waits for the students. She had been accepted as the Flying Professor and was very excited as she just loved being in her air. It was also a simple class and it allowed her to keep an eye on things, Belledona also hated long boring classes whilst she was a student and Flying was an easy class for her. She pulls out her wand and creates some red, green and yellow rings around the pitch. Red on the left, green middle and yellow on the right in a row. She puts the wand back in her purple robes and waited patiently, seeing some students come out of the castle to her.

Selena quickly walked over the grass to the quidditch pitch where her first flying lesson was to start soon. She could hardly wait to finally get into the air again and grabbed her broom a bit more tightly in her excitement.
"Good morning, Professor." she grinned at her teacher, her dark eyes lightening up with eagerness. She hoped that they could get started soon.

Belledona see's a student and she smiles. ''Morning Miss Winter.'' She greeted her and waits for other students to show up so she can begin.

Morgan entered the Quidditch Pitch, ready for some flying, her broom slung across her torso. "Good morning, Professor," she said happily, removing her broom and unhooking the black and white leather strap, tucking it away until after class. She gave Selena a wave and a smile as well. It had been a long summer and she was itching to get back in the air.

Jocelyn was back at school, the healer released her on one condition, she would take a potion to get stronger and as Jocelyn felt like she was strong enough she just followed the healer's order. Jocelyn walked with her own broom over the field and saw the new professor was the girlfriend of her cousin Thane. Jocelyn groaned in annoyance, she was not really in the mood to get a lesson from a professor she sees in private as well. Jocelyn saw Morgan and another girl. No one really knew where she was all the time she was away only her brothers and her head of house. She arrived by the teacher. "Morning." She groaned and stood on her own, she fixes her broom. Jocelyn could already fly on a high level but flying made her relax more and she needed it but after the whole hospital thing she didn't know if she was able to get high enough. As she was deep in thoughts a comment from Dragon popped up. 'Fear is an option not a fact' Jocelyn liked Dragon very much.

Belledona looks down from the castle to see two other students and she smiles. ''Good Morning Miss Prince. Miss Grimm.'' She heard the groans from the one related to her lover, Thane and quickly hid the frown that had formed on her face. ''Class will begin once we have more students...Who has flown before so i know if i have to start from the very beginning?'' She asks with a raised eyebrow. Her emerald eyes flickered over the faces to search for a small trace of knowledge about flying.

Jocelyn pulled her hand up when the professor asked the question who had flown before. Jocelyn chuckled lightly, she was in the Slytherin quiditch team, of course she had flown before. "If you are interested in teaching flying and quiditch, you would have known that i already could fly Professor." Jocelyn emphasized the word professor. Jocelyn stepped on her broom and rised up, flew around fast and then landed with both feet on the ground looking at the professor.

Belledona raises her brow and put a hand on her hip. ''Well Miss Grimm. I do not keep track on who's on the Quidditch team. I only teach flying and the basics of Quidditch. I do not put the team together so i do not know if you play before. I've had my mind on other things right now so excuse me if my teaching methods are not to your taste. You can bring it up with the headmistress.'' She says with narrowed eyes. She was confused and massively irritated.

Morgan looks at Jocylen as she spoke to the Professor, a new kind of attitude about her. She in turn put her hand up and gave a respectful nod to Professor Prewett.

Jocelyn glared at the professor and at Morgan who looked at her. Jocelyn kept her mouth shut because if she dared to irritate the professor more she was going to risk a fight with Thane even though she was in for a fight with him and she probably going to have a fight with him either way. Jocelyn started to play with her broom, annoyingly waiting for the lesson to start.

Selena snorted amused when the Slytherin girl answered their professor and shook her head. Some people just didn't know respect and couldn't show decorum if their life depended on it...or their house points for that matter.
Turning to their teacher, still smirking slightly, Selena said "I am on the Quidditch team as well, seeker to be precise. So, I guess I'm quite good at flying." She grinned at her professor and leaned on her broom.

Belledona ignored the glare from the insolent student. She turns to Selena with a smile and bowed her head. ''Ah yes! I have heard of you, Miss Winter! You helped Gryffindor win many Quidditch games.'' She waves her wand and a register forms in her hand. She smirks and her emerald eyes wander over the faces of the girls. ''You're all players...A seeker, a keeper and a beater. Wonderful!'' She exclaims with joy. ''Thinking of a small game of Quidditch so i know what skills you have and what's needed to improve so you can become the best of the best.'' She smirks and leans on her now hovering broom.

Luna ran to the pitch with her black broom slung on her back. She smiles at her godmother and waves at the three girls. She hears the last bit and a wide smirk forms on her face. ''And a quick Chaser, Professor.'' She says with pride as she based herself around agility, speed and just quick flexes. She crosses her arms over her chest, seeing Jocelyn annoyed and irritation in Belledona's face. Shit...What the hell did Jocy do to get Belle mad?! ain't seen her this way since father said shit about Lyra...Luna snaps out of her train of thought and raises an eyebrow at Belledona who gives her a look saying 'Later'. She bites her lip and waits for class to begin. There was barely any students and it would be better to have more. She knew what Belledona was planning and it intrigued her.

Jocelyn saw Luna running up to the field and said something to the professor. Jocelyn didn't really pay any attention to the lesson as it was still not started. As Jocelyn could feel someone watching her, she looked up seeing other students shake their heads. Jocelyn shook it off, she didn't care for other students. Also Luna was watching her and that made Jocelyn more irritated. If Luna would come for her and ask what's going on between the professor and her she would look at Luna and tell her it is none of her business, but what would that mean? Two fights against her, Thane and Kronos because she is rude to people. Jocelyn looked at her broom again as she sank deep in her thoughts.

Alexia had decided to take flying this year on a whim. A completely idiotic and misguided whim she was starting to believe as she struggled to carry her sports bag in one hand and a broom in the other. It had already taken twenty minutes to change into appropriate robes for the lesson and now she was certain she was late.

She was out of breath by the time she reached the small huddle on the pitch and let out a sigh of relief when she saw that at least the others were still on the ground. "Sorry professor.. bloody buckles," she said, smiling slightly and shaking her head. Pulling her hair into a neat-ish bun, she looked around at the other students, wondering if this was a good idea after all.

Selena looked up from where she stood to the new arrival and grinned slightly. First lesson and already late, and that as a Ravenclaw. She chuckled. Well luckily the lesson hadn't really started yet, so the girl hadn't missed anything.
Running her hand over the handle of her broom, Selena's thoughts drifted away from the flying and quidditch and her brow furrowed into a dark line as she pondered the possible ways the next few months could develope. She definitely would put some more training into defense against the dark art, as they seemed to be slowly approaching a full blown war.

She shook her head to clear away such thoughts and decided to focus on the lesson at hand. "Well, with the first match coming up soon, we really should start getting into the air now." she muttered, a bit irritated with the long wait.

Belledona nods her head at the very late arrival. She then saw the irritation in one of the students and heard her mutter. She, herself, was annoyed but she simply pushed it away. ''Get on your brooms. You see those red, green and yellow hoops? The Green stay still. Those are for the unsure fliers. Yellow move slowly for the ones who've flown from time to time but Red. They move. The first one stays still but then the second ones moves to a different position. I hope you're all agile because the Red will require quick turns.'' Belledona explains with a smirk. She then puts her hand up in the air. ''If any of you go against my words, say how stupid this task is, you'll find yourself in one of my detentions. You will not like it at all. I am not in the mood for silliness, back chatting and any of that fu-'' She caught herself. ''Any of that nonsense. Chop Chop. If you're so eager to fly, get to it.''

Luna listened carefully and smirked as Belledona caught herself. She gets on the broom and begins to fly. She goes to the yellow one first, doing it with ease. She spins and goes to the Red. She says in front of it for a while and goes through the first to see the second disappear. Luna looks around to see it close to Belledona's side. She zips through it and flies around the Quidditch area to find the third hidden in the bleachers. There was 10 in total and it took Luna some time to find some of them.

Jocelyn smirked at the comment of the griffindor and stepped on her broom flying up and follows Luna's example. She loved flying, the wind in her hair. She couldn't wait for the quiditch match to begin. Jocelyn flew fast through the yellow hoops and then flew around searching for the red hoops. She flew around and saw one and flew right at the red hoop, it was low by the ground and Jocelyn took the risk but then it went wrong and Jocelyn's broom touched the field so Jocelyn fell hard. She quickly sits up shaking her hair away and then pulled herself up brushing off her flying clothes. "Stupid task" She muttered angrily, stepping on her broom again and begun another search for the red hoops.

Upon hearing the long desired words of her professor, Selena's face brightened up considerably and she quickly jumped atop her broom and pushed off the ground. The cold air blew through her long black hair and she grinned happily as she manoeuvred her broom smoothly through the yellow hoops.
How she had longed to be speeding across the sky again during those long summer months of their holliday!

Pulling the handle upwards in a swift motion, Selena spiralled up towards the sun, then quickly lead her broom back to the pitch where she spied the red hoops waiting. With a fluid move, she slipped through the first one, her seeker trained eyes already spotting the second not too far above the ground where they had been waiting for the lesson to start and she pulled off a nice Wronski feint, dropping to the ground to fly through the hoop, then, before she crashed to the ground, she pulled up her broom again to reach the next hoop.

Moran was pleased to finally get to get into the air, long wait or not. She unhooked the white and black leather strap holding her broom across her chest and tucked it into her back pocket. After mounting her broom, she looked and spotted a red hoop. Kicking off the ground, she made a b-line for it and successfully shot through the stationary hoop. Pulling up on her broom, Morgan shot up into the bright sky and looked around for the next red hoop. Spotting it towards the middle of the pitch, she executed a type of elevator stall and let herself tip and 'fall' towards the ground. About half-way down, Morgan pulled up, correcting the fall, and shot quickly to the center of the field. Quickly looking about, she spotted a third red hoop. Morgan turned her broom sideways and slid through the second hoop before taking off towards the third. Just as she was about to reach it, the hoop vanished....

Alexis looked on as the others headed for the yellow and red hoops. Frowning slightly, she forced the pink blush from her cheeks as she mounted her broom. Taking a deep breath, she kicked off from the ground. The broom was easier to maneuver than she thought it would be, but that didn't mean that she was anywhere near as graceful as the others. Slowly, she made her way over to the green rings, and flew through the first. It took her a a few minutes to get used to flying and a few more to find the next hoop. She knew that she would have to practice in her own time if she wanted to get any better. She slowly but surely made it through the series of rings, and returned to the beginning. She stopped for a moment to watch the others. They were all so much better than her, and she assumed that they must have all flown before.

Alyrin rushes into the area, out of breath.

"Sorry I'm late, Professor.." he pants.

He quickly gets on his broom, kicks off, and takes off into the air, flying.
